Perfect location very close to everything and also a close walk to the gym facilities. Very secure.

We were not told that the adjacent flat had been undergoing renovations since August (we stayed in October). There are signs on the front door about upcoming renovations so it couldn’t be a secret. The drill noise and hammering have been ongoing every day. It was not possible to stay at the flat during the day. 6 ceiling lights were out when we checked in. During the course of the week most were fixed except for one that was going in and out at the entrance. The service staff is very responsive but the light was still not working when we left.

The location and the fully equiped appartment

Location great. Very safe

Telephone didn’t work to notify staff on gate that our Uber was arriving

The apartment was very nice. Great views. Great location. Very easy to get around and short walk to the Waterfront.

The host told us there was an inverter so we would not be affected by load shedding. However at 18.30 the power went off. There was only one lamp in the lounge. We could not see to get dressed, put on make up etc. I was unable to blow dry my hair. I sent the host a WhatsApp to ask about the inverter. She forwarded my message to her friend (accidentally) saying "now she is going to be pissed off". Unfortunately for Cathy I read this before she deleted it. Had they been honest and given us a timetable for the load shedding it would have been very easy to work around it. And her attitude spoilt our stay.
