BRAVO Sergeants First Class - Absolutely Fantastic

We loved loved loved Sergeant First Class Riomaggiore, from first arrival meeting Paola who helped us with the carparking to recommendations on restaurants, cafes and the local attractions and then arriving at the absolutely fantastic apartment in the thick of the port area of Riomaggiore. The balcony gave us a superb view of the port and fabuolous houses and buildings in the town. This was our favourite location for our Italian trip, which took us thru (7) seven different regions and lodgings. Bravo Paola, Grazia Paola. Arrivedrci.

Nothing took the shine off our stay in the Cinque Terre region.

Beautiful apartment in Riomaggiore, with the most amazing location and views of the sea!

Sitting on the balcony drinking wine and listening to the waves crashing was absolute heaven! Plenty of facilities in the apartment with everything you need for a wonderful stay, and the air con was simply brilliant! We were met at the station by Paola who walked us to the apartment and gave us lots of useful local information on the way. She is the nicest, funniest lady you could meet and made us all feel very welcome, nothing is too much trouble and she responds to texts very quickly. Riomaggiore is a truly magical place! The nearby seafood restaurant was outstanding and we met lots of locals who were all so kind and friendly. Was so lovely to sitting and chatting to them. Monterosso beach is stunning and fantastic for families but personally I'd say stay in Riomaggiore and catch the train to the other villages because there is something very special about the character here and we would love to stay again soon!

Spectacular Unit!

Such a nice clean place! Looks brand new inside! Right in the heart of the Village with a spectular view of the harbor. Also right across the alley from a wonderful Michelin Star Restaurant. Really ideal!

The location at Riomaggiore was amazing. It is right by the water and there were plenty of places to eat around. Our host, Paola, was also very friendly and helpful to us. She recommended many places for us to eat, and also showed us where location of shops/food places were around Rio and Manarola.

Could not find a fault with the accommodation during our stay.

Having spent as many years trying to get here this did not disappoint. The area is very beautiful, every corner you turn is like a picture postcard, including the fantastic view from the balcony Paola has been an excellent host with immediate responses and great information, and the apartment is clean, well equipped and such a wonderful location. We have had an amazing time and would highly recommend everything!

Maybe a ‘real’ oven rather than a combi microwave, but other than that everything was perfect

A perfect two week stay to celebrate our 25th anniversary!

The apartment was very clean and was perfectly located on the marina. Our balcony provided an amazing view of the water. The wifi was exceptional, which was very important to us since we "lived/worked' in the apartment for two weeks and needed a strong connection. Our hostess, Paola, was tremendous! Very helpful suggestions on places to eat, things to do etc, and was responsive with any questions we had.

The train took a few nights to get used to but other than that, no issues at all!

Perfectly peaceful gem amongst the hustle and bustle of the Cinque Terra

The location of this property is right in the centre of the very desirable Riomaggiore; despite this it’s very quiet when you close the shutters and the air con is fantastic. The internal quality of true apartment is phenomenal and makes it a refuge from the busy Cinque Terra in summer. The host Paola is a phenomenal host! Riomaggiore and Linguia in general is not expensive for food and drinks, the quality is very good!

property was in an amazing location and the photos do not do it justice. place is immaculately kept and the host provided awesome advice, tips and recommendations which really made our stay enjoyable

nothing - only minor comment for information is that when a train goes past it can be very noisey but the pros significantly outweigh this minor point and I would happily stay here again!

Stunning!

We loved our stay at Sergeant First Class in Riomaggiore. Our host Paola was incredible, she met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment - which is necessary in Riomaggiore! She also offered suggestions on activities and restaurants to visit. The apartment has everything we needed. Newly refurbished, spacious and clean! The balcony was our favourite part! We can’t wait to stay again!

It was perfect! The crowds during the day can be a little overwhelming - but after 5pm the travellers head home and the village becomes much quieter!
