Beware.

Absolutely NOTHING. It was not safe, secure and DID NOT HAVE ELECTRICITY! I did not stay due to safety concerns and was told I would not get a refund. DO NOT stay if you are a solo traveler - find a safe location with electricity, please!

I was told someone would be there to meet me upon arrival for welcome and check in, but no one was there, and I waited 45min before messaging the WhatsApp number to see what happened. They told me where to find the keys - which were left in an unlocked mailbox. The place was not clean and there was no electricity. When I messaged the property, they told me to reset the electrical power at the main box - that didn't work. They came back in to clean and there was still hair all over the bed. When I returned after the "cleaning" my luggage was moved around and looked like it had been gone through. As many other reviews stated, the towels and bed linens are old and worn out. I would not use them for any guest - especially someone who is paying a good price to stay! While I was in the area, several random men were sitting in the area without bags and just watching the place. I was very afraid as I was traveling alone, and the place had not been locked. I have never experienced anything like this and have travelled to many countries as a solo female. Unfortunately, Booking.com has not assisted at all and I will need to dispute the charge with my credit card company as I did not stay there - even for an hour. It is NOT safe.

An adventure in the last town of the 5.

Newly renovated but not completely finished. Everything in the kitchen and bathroom was clean and functioned. Anne and Luca were helpful and kind. Quiet location, close to downtown and harbor. Due-to the train strike we only stayed one night, so we didn’t cook anything or really settle in. Recommend the boat tours of the coast line. Fun and free prosecco.

Not finished, there were cleaning tools in the entrance-way and the stairs going downstairs to the basement were very close to the front door so it felt like a dangerous area. Should be blocked off. Quite an uphill walk that wasn’t mentioned in the information on Booking.com. We would have appreciated knowing that; it would have been helpful to know that there is a taxi available from the train station, too. We certainly got our steps in.

Needs improvements to meet the expectations

Riomaggiore is a beautiful village and the flat overlooked the village nicely, although we could not enjoy the view from the bathroom window for very long. No other room had a view. The flat was at a very strategic position in order to visit the rest of the Cinque Terre villages. Parking was very close, although it is municipal parking and is very expensive Lucca was a very helpful landlord, always answering my messages and providing guidance on our visit. However, the flat needs some more overlook. I don;t want to be unfair, maybe it was bad timing for us, but this was the impression I got

The room was not at its best when we arrived. The bed, sheets, pillows were not at all fresh (maybe damp from the wweather, but I cannot be sure) and we had to sleep on our towels the first night. The day after we were provided with other sheets. As sson as the cleaning lady provided them, she immediately asked to be paid the full time of our stay. I found the timing for this a bit inappropriate. In addition, carrying cash to pay for rooms is a bit outdated, not? The flat overall was not at its best condition, not very clean and not very convenient. We had a small problem with the bathroom sink, which we resolved asap.

Was the most cheap apartment in Cinque terre. There is Kitchen inside it.

Problems with hot water. Towels was clean but still wet and without fresh fragrance. Was Difficult to get the location for my not young mother but it’s the specification of beautiful Cinque terre. Just don’t like that owner didn’t warn me about this difficult climb considering that I wrote him month before the trip about bad legs of my mother.

I would gladly return in better weather to get some nice view of the villages on a boat trip.

We arrived in extremely bad weather in the middle of the night due to train cancellation and flight delay and although there was no host to meet us,we still stayed in touch online with him and got useful instructions. The house is close to the train station. There was some tea,coffee, pasta....,etc.

There is no wifi and the thermostat isn't easy to set.We couldn't get in touch with Anna to check in.She had some personal problems but she could have let us known...
