Storybook location with lovely finishes and views to die for.

Perfect stay with the perfect view!

I would give 20 stars for the location! The terrace and view is the most beautiful in cinque Terre. Also the outdoor dining table, ping pong table in the terrace, and sunset view. We liked that it was secluded and away from the main town in a very quiet corner of Riomaggiore. Barbara and her husband were helpful from the moment we entered town. From parking the car to helping with our luggage, they were always there to help. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in cinque Terre - this really is the best place.

Having a washing machine available would have been helpful.

This place is like a dream!

We can’t say enough good things about this property! Barbara, the host, was fabulous. She met us at the train station and walked us up to the home and gave us a tour. She also gave us recommendations. The view is like a dream and house is extremely comfortable. After a very hot day in Florence, we welcomed the split system AC to help our sleep! I would absolutely stay here again. The grounds of the house are so incredible and Barbara fills you in on the history of her family. It is a very special home.

Fabulous house - would highly recommend

Incredible views with wonderful outside areas. Extremely clean and a super responsive and friendly host! Beds were very comfortable and lovely bathroom (great shower!). Air con a bonus in the heat.

The property was well furnished, and beautiful both inside and outside. It had an absolutely phenomenal view of the sea from a garden area attached to the property.

We loved everything about this property. The property location is up a hill, but has access by paved road, rather than stairs, which made it easier when carrying luggage.

Incredible views and a comfortable stay.

The views are incredible and you get to watch the sunset every night from the patio. Playing ping pong and darts was a fun touch. The owner of the apartment was very accommodating and helpful.

Be prepared to the long uphill walk from the train station with your baggage. Not a fault of the property but just comes with the territory of Cinque Terre.

Cinque Terra beauty!!

The outdoor areas and landscaping were gorgeous…coffee overlooking the ocean, wine on the sunset viewing bench! A bit of Cinque Terra paradise!

Our only real problem was that our car was damaged in the parking space provided. The living room area was not super comfortable although we only used it one rainy afternoon. Property would not be good for anyone not good with stairs, but we loved it and would stay again!

Enjoyed the stay very much. Great location with beautiful views. Barbara was very nice and thoughtful. She met us at the train station. The rental was clean and comfortable. Will rent again.

Good for a short stay.

Location was great, but when all said and done it was a two room house. You pay for the view. The host kindly met us at the station and left some water in the fridge for our arrival. The sound of the waves was lovely. There were great but hard walks up in the hills.

When researching we didn't really grasp how busy the village would get. The number of visitors was overwhelming, the shops limited and busy with stressed staff serving. The trains were crowded and we spent most days away. The beach below had a rough swell and only competent swimmers would be happy to swim there and miss the rocks. At dusk the mosquitoes had a feast.

Highlight of our trip!

Barbara's place was amazing and one of the highlights of our trip. The sun loungers and ping pong table were such a bonus for us to all stay in for the day. The sleeping arrangements were perfect for 4 adults and we had all the amenities we could need. And the views were absolutely picture perfect - no complaints at all! Barbara even met us at the station when we arrived to show us how to get the property and give us a few tips and tricks. She was super friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to go back again!

Exceptional

The property was absolutely amazing and the views were so breathtaking!! There was so much space for the 4 of us to move around and leave our luggage which was great. The hosts Marino and Barbra were so incredible, Marino carried our heavy suitcases from the train station and went above and beyond to look after us and make sure we had an excellent stay. The property was spotless and had so many amenities for us. They also have the most amazing fruit tree that they let us pick fruit from. Could not recommend this place more!! Will definitely have to come back!! Thank you Barbra and Marino!!

Everything- do not hesitate to book. the view is truly spectacular and watching the sunset from the top of the garden is amazing. Barbara was a fantastic host who met us and showed us to the accomodation. great working aircon in living room and bedroom. very close to shops, restaurants and the port.

Nothing! pack light as it’s a bit of a trek with luggage but that is the same for everywhere in cinque Terre and the view is well worth it!!

Dream villa with amazing views

Wow what a beautiful house. Words and pictures cannot capture the beauty of this place. The views were to die for. The house was spotlessly cleaned and perfect in every way. The location is absolutely amazing, looking out to the beach and ocean as well as Riomaggiore. The outdoor space was just amazing, great for a family of 5! The ping-pong table, sun chairs and table all with views, was just perfect. Barbara is just lovely, so friendly and welcoming. Met us at the train station and showed us there. Will definitely be back to stay.

Perfect location to explore Cinque Terre

The house is perfectly located in Riomaggiore and one has a spectacular view to the ocean and the city. There is a nice seating area to enjoy a sundowner overlooking the city and a beautiful upper terrasse with an endless sea view. There is also an outdoor shower and our young children had fun playing table tennis and darts. You can if you want wonderfully escape the hustle of the city, because the house is very quiet. The kitchen equipment is also great - apart from the minor limitations mentioned below - and there is a dishwasher and, above all, enough crockery and cutlery. There is a playground just a few minutes' walk from the house and it is only a 5-minute walk to the town, where there are many restaurants, a supermarket and take-away options. It is also a short walk to the train station and harbour to explore the other villages of the Cinque Terre by train or boat. We (a family with 2 small children) can recommend Barbara's house 100% and would book it again immediately on our next visit. Barbara gave us a very warm welcome and even organised free parking for the whole stay as well as a luggage shuttle. She is a perfect host and the house is a little (and even air-conditioned!) paradise. We really enjoyed our stay there!

Actually, there is nothing to criticise. At most, it would have been nice if there had been a freezer compartment and a toaster.

It has a beautiful view of both the local beach and the town! Barbara met us to show us parking upon arrival, and walked us to the house. She gave some tips along the way. Very beautiful outside eating area. Star gazing at night was outstanding as well. Easy walk to train station. Totally worth staying there as a home base during your Cinque Terre tour.

Brilliant villa but such an effort to walk to.

Great location for privacy and views. The accommodation itself was excellent.

Although it was only 10-15 minutes walk from the marina, it was up an extremely steep hill and / or many stairs. Although we are moderately fit and healthy, it became quite a chore to return to the unit which did effect our decisions on going out for a swim or to the shops etc.
