The balcony was fabulous, ideal situated. Place was nice and clean and bright. Had a fridge and kettle with working aircon. Loved sitting on balcony watching the world go by. Owner was lovely and helped greatly with directions and advice.

God aircondition i soveværelse.

The owner was fantastic ! Roberto so happened to be there when we arrived so he talked us through everything and gave us the keys. (Very fluent english). However, he also sent a very clear video before hand on where to go from the train station to find the place as well as where the key would be located.
Could have a mini kitchen.

The photos don’t do the place justice. It’s an absolutely perfect location and the stay was extremely comfortable. Great communication from the team, including detailed instructions on how to access the place. The Apartment had a well equipped kitchen with everything we needed to stay. The bedroom with the Juliet Balcony and the upper level with the large balcony/patio ensured we always had a view.
Everything was great. The balcony is half of a larger balcony that is shared with the smaller unit next door, but there are planters and dividers that make it very private. You’ll also have to do some stair climbing to get to the apartment, but that’s true of literally everything in Riomaggiore. Embrace it!

The view! The friendly owner helped carry our luggage. The location. The delightful restaurants and bakeries nearby. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The chamomile tea was lovely.
There are many stairs but you can hire a porter to carry your luggage.

Litt utrivelig rett utenfor døra, men det gikk greit.

We loved the location above the boat ramp and looking out to sea. The apartment was clean and with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We were aware of the steps to the apartment but it was more difficult than we expected to get our medium sized suitcases up to the apartment (approx 20kg as we are travelling for 6 weeks). I wouldn't book again unless we were able to carry much less luggage.
Bathroom/toilet on different level to bedroom.

Roberto met us when we arrived to give us the keys. This place was outstanding with an amazing view! It was very clean with lots of space, including a kitchen and sitting area. The private terrace overlooking the sea and village was spectacular. We hope to return!!

The host Roberto met us and carried my bag up, the place is beautiful and the terrace is incredible! The absolute best location and view! There’s a back way to the train for when you don’t have bags! We loved it!
Nothing but be ready for stairs

- Foi a única acomodação onde não deixaram nem uma mísera água;

You cannot beat the view: right on the harbour in Riomaggiore, wonderful huge terrace with table, chairs and lounge chairs. You come in at ground level, with bedroom at back with large window and French balcony also overlooking harbour area; upstairs is living/dining and kitchen, plus access to terrace. Having that space was a bonus for us as it rained a lot so we were stuck inside for two days. Good restaurants right at harbour, although most shopping, groceries and restaurants were up the street and many stairs to the upper town. Apartment has decent facilities for cooking, dining although more cleaning supplies (rags, dishtowels, bathroom cleaner) might have been helpful.
We also have to give a shout-out to owner Roberto who carried our very heavy luggage up the many stairs to the apartment.
TIP: There is a luggage porter in town. Ask for his help (about 10Euro/suitcase) if you have heavy luggage that needs to be moved to or from the train station which is in the upper town. Roberto can put you in touch with the porter.
A small shelf in the bathroom would be an asset, as there is no place to put toiletries really and there is plenty of room to install a shelf. We stayed for 7 days so this might not be as important for those staying only a few nights and never really unpacking.
A heads up about the stairs: There are many steep and deep stairs from street level to the level for the apartment front door, so keep that in mind when it comes to luggage (because we were travelling from a ski vacation we had lots of heavy luggage.)

The spectacular view from the patio made the steep climb to get there worthwhile. Our host was unable to secure a porter for our bags when we arrived, so graciously assisted us himself and prearranged a porter for our departure.
Curtains where the main bed was were thin and let all outside light in - blackout curtains or shades in that area would be a nice addition.

location and view
there wasn’t a stable hot water stream in the shower, it went on and off.
the apartment was dirty, hair in the shower and dusty floor. we had only one toilet paper roll and asked for another one, the owner brought only the day after.
he didn’t make up our bad or changed the towels, just took the garbage.
the internet is very bad and kept disconnecting.
I don’t recommend staying there.

Loved everything; location, apartment and the balcony with amazing views. Sun lit up the houses across in the evening and close to taking a dip i the water. Felt like we could not have found a better place in Cinque terre 😍👌

The view from the room was unbelievable; right over the harbour. We could not have asked for better. Our host Roberto did everything he could to make our experience a good one, including adjusting his schedule to meet us when we had delayed and missed trains. The room was on two floors with a double bed on one floor and a surprisingly comfortable pull-out sofa bed on the other. We've marked the location of the flat in red in the attached photos. One of the photos also shows the path up to the flat.
Very minor thing - no curtains on the bedroom window. We used a bedspread to block the morning light. You can see the bedspread in one of the photos from the outside :-)
There are also MANY, MANY steps all through Cinque Terre. This is not a criticism of the flat at all, it's just that travelers need to be prepared. There are probably about 100 steps between the train station and the flat. If you have mobility issues or only have a massive suitcase, maybe consider somewhere flatter.

the excellent location (apart from all the steps you need to carry your luggage up and down, but it was worth it once we got there) and the large terrace overlooking the sea and town below
the Wi-Fi was very poor to non-existent. there was apparently coverage but we weren’t getting anything from it

Were were met in town by the ferry, our host was friendly and gracious. Everything was as expected and the views were magnificent. We couldn't have been closer to the see. The room was small, about the size of a standard hotel room, the bathroom was a decent size and the balcony was sufficiently large enough to lounge. The balcony faces north, so while you don't get the sunset view, you are able to sit out on the balcony into the evening.
The Stairs. Now while I say this - if you are coming to Riomaggiore you are going to do stairs. The question isn't so much if, it is more "how many". We stayed (two couples) in two different locations in Riomaggiore and this location had the least amount of stairs for a penthouse apartment. Do not bring large luggage. Not only are there stairs, they are not easily done with even small bags. We re-packed into backpacks and a small portable duffle we brought and that was very helpful. I saw some people struggling through the streets with their large wheeled and small wheeled carry-ons. If you are not prepared to hump your bags up four or five flights of stairs or more - don't bring them.
From the boat you are looking at 3 or flights of stairs up and then back down to get to the port. You then have 3 flights up to get to the house. Then inside you have 2 tight flights up to your room.
From the Train, you are a 5 minute walk (depending on where you are coming from - you might have 2 flights of stairs to go over the train tracks). Then 4 flights of stairs down to the port - then up. There is also a route from the train station along the coast which has many more stairs for the adventure seekers.

this is the best location possible in Riomaggiore, right next the sea.
If you don’t feel like going out for dinner, you can buy local products and wine in near by stores and have dinner on the balcony, and you’ll still be able to feel the great vibe this place has.
The apartment is walking distance from the train station, and the amazing host Roberto will pick you up there (you can’t really find the entrance to the apartment if it’s your first time there).
I would definitely (and probably will) stay there in the future.
Not much to say here, but my suggestion would be adding a coffee machine and some small device to heat up food, as you do feel tempted to have dinner on the balcony.

Beautiful view of sea and city from terrace and nice view of street on bottom level.
Extra set of bed sheets and comforter for person sleeping on sofa.

location was best! the apartment has a lot of space over 2 levels. Everything was in good shape.
There are 2 apartments, we were lucky to be in the one further from the sea, it has a bigger balcony and slightly better view. the steps going up and the entrance have a cool midievil vibe that we loved. there are a few platforms overlooking the sea on the stairs, for taking a break if you need to. tThe bedroom had a Juliette balcony.
The upper level with living area, kitchen and bathroom, theres to A/C. Lower level with bedroom has no toilet, so a trip up the stairs in the mid of night. I would still stay again though.

The location was perfect. The owner of the hotel was so kind and friendly. The view of the Terrasse was amazing. The flat is right next to the harbor.
There was not oven or microwelle in the kitchen.
