Riomaggiore is such a cute town and we appreciated the location close to the Via Dellamore and the amazing views from the top of the hill. The accomodations were clean and comfortable. There is a small kitchen area on the second floor of this apartment (you must climb a ladder to get up there) as well as a small balcony on that level. The first floor has a bedroom, living area, bathroom and coffee bar. We were pleased that even though this apartment was very close to a busy, loud, touristy area the windows blocked the noise well. The host helped us to store our luggage in a small, locked shed after checkout while we waited to catch our train.
It's not super clear from looking at this apartment on a map, but it is very high up within the town and requires climbing a lot of stairs and/or taking a very round about route up a hill. There is an elevator near the train station that makes this easier with suitcases, but the host did not give us access to this (via the Tourist Card) until we had already checked in. I think they should communicate better with guests and help them get this arranged before they arrive.

No sheets for the sofa bed and rather dark.

Great balcony and good location.
The ironing board was very strange!
Instructions to get to the property were misleading. We couldn’t find the ‘brown door’ (no mention of having to go through the green door first). Issues with the keypad. Couldn’t make use of the storage area as unable to unlock it. Not able to have early check in and late check out, which we purchased!
