Location absolutely perfect! Nice balcony to look at sunset! Like the other reviews mentioned a few little updates are needed. The only negative (mainly just annoying) is housekeeping banging on the door the day of checkout an hour before it was time to go, then back 15 minutes before it was time to go. Obviously when ur trying to get ready and pack super annoying! Just come AFTER it is time to checkout!
Just needs a few updates/ fixes like ceiling . Etc

The location was great, and the view was amazing!
The apartment was really dirty and in desperate need of renovation. The walls were cracked and no longer white. In some areas, the paint was peeling off. The doors and raling of the stairs going to the 2nd bedroom, once painted white, were disgusting. One of the shower walls was covered in mould. I also found hair in the bathroom from the previous guests. One of the main lights in the living area was not working. The furniture was covered in dust.
The apartment was on the 4th floor, and the stairs were very steep and narrow. Which wouldn't have been a problem if there were lights all the way up. On the second floor was pitch dark. Taking the luggage up and down the stairs was a real challenge.
When I complained to the owner about all these and told her that I would also inform Booking, I was accused of threatening her and being poorly educated.

Fantastic views great location
Extremely narrow and steep and dark staircase difficult to get luggage up even for fit male, dirty staircase leading up to room . Greeted by empty wine bottle and mess leading to front door which remained there for our three day stay

Brilliant location
We had 2 rooms.
Where locked out of both 2nd night - couldn’t contact anyone for help!
One room other guests had locked the (communal) door from inside - took a good 10 minutes of hammering on the door to rouse them.
The other room (in a separate building) the outside door was locked when we got back in the evening- we couldn’t get in at all

Excellent location, overlooking the Riomaggiore Harbour, superb balcony with view of the sunset and the rest of this Cinque Terra town. Very challenging series of internal stairs need to be tackled each time one leaves or returns - not suited to anyone with mobility issues or large suitcases!

Amazing location . I want to come back !
A bigger fridge would be helpful and senser light on stairs in middle section

We had a balcony that overlooked the marina and the village center. We loved having the extra room in the apartment as opposed to only a hotel room. The balcony, the view and the vibe was wonderful. Our apartment was 4 floors above a great gelato shop. All in all, absolutely wonderful.
the lights in the stairs were a bit spotty and took a day or two to figure out. They are necessary if you are staying on the penthouse level, but this was NOT a bad mark in our opinion.

The view was spectacular and really the best part of the property. Can’t beat the location…..unfortunately you had to hike up the equivalent of 5 steep narrow, dark and winding stairs to reach the front door. Not safe, cardio buster with suitcases and no porter help available!
No ac control reported batteries needed to be replaced on day one and owner did not care. Lied and said maid replaced and not the case! Volume on TV did not work😩. Shredded outdoor chaise lounge cushion on terrace unusable. Peeling paint chips in ceiling wall corner needed repaired. Attempted multiple times to contact THEOne property phone # only to get a recording then disconnect! WiFi did not work! Repeatedly exchanged messages thru Booking.com owner connect and owner was not responsive to these issues. None of them were properly addressed. Was so disappointed, that we left the property one day early & notified owner in advance for full or partial refund for the one day & he rejected and could care less. If this is the type of owner properties that are on your site you will be in a world of long term business hurt. We will never use your site again and will share with all of our friends our displeasure and lack of resolution! This owners sucks the big donkey!

The apartment was all we could dream for. We booked it especially for the view and were not disappointed. It’s such a luxury to wake up in the morning and see the quiet sea and enjoy Riomaggiore before the tourists arrive. The terrace is in the sun during the afternoon and is the perfect point of view to see the sunset.
Parts of the apartment are slightly run down and could benefit from an upgrade (paint peeling off on the ceiling, lounge chair without a proper cover, etc.). Given some of the reviews, I did some extra diligence before booking but ultimately did not regret my choice.

Lovely view from nice balcony.
Clean and modern
Very small apartment.
Huge climb with suitcases.

Great view, comfortable beds.
A tough haul from the train to the room, lots of stairs even before you get to the building. If you’re fit you can do it and the views are worth it.
Can’t believe they want to charge for coffee pods after what we paid for the place!

The view from the balcony on the honeymoon suite and the penthouse is amazing and worth the climb! The beds were
comfortable and it is nicely decorated. It is clean. Did I say the balcony is amazing! This place is full of charm and character and uniqueness, and I absolutely loved it and our stay. We rented the two and they basically connect, there is an outer door you can close and lock and keep your room doors open, very nice for families, we are traveling with our two adult children and their significant others and this set up worked well for us.
Nothing bad just some things you should know. This property is not for elderly, out of shape, people with lots of luggage or obese. From the train, you travel down several flights of stairs and
stone paths. When you get to the
the property you travel up five flights of narrow, slippery marble stairs, with no light, and a rope to hang on to (which I desperately needed. I was prepared for this from other reviews, but still it was more than expected.) the
apartments are small, but charming. The honeymoon suite is interesting with the glass wall (it does have a shade) but you could sit on the toliet and look in the mirror and see the ocean🤣

Amazing view, easy to find, the apartment really located in the heart of Riomaggiore. It was pretty clean and nice. I would come back for the view but not for the facilities.
Staff was always on the line for any questions.
The stairs ware tough, even the stairs inside the apartment to reach the bed + we bumped out heads few times.
The door to the bathroom was broken, it was very difficult to close it.
The fridge didn’t work :(

EVERYTHING. DONT BOOK HERE IS A WASTE OF MONEY. PHOTOS ARE MISLEADING AND RELATE TO OTHER PROERTIES THEY HAVE. CANCEL NOW AND THANK ME LATER. THEY PROMOTE PROPERTY AS “LUXURY PENTHOUSE APARTMENT “ AND ITS NOT BY ANY MEANS. ALL THEY ARE SELLIN* IS THE VIEW. WE BOOKED FOR 4 PEOPKE AND APARTMENT WASNT EQUIPPED TO ACCOMMODATE 4 PEOPLE. YOU COULDNOT STAND UP ON MEZANINE FLOOR, DOOR IN BATHROOM DID NIT CLISE. READ OTHER REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE FROM OTHER SITES THEY ARE ACCURATE.

Right next to the ocean. Balcony and see sounds made this a great experience. Market down the road luckily was open for purchase of food, wine, and more. The hiking to Riomagiorre the next Cinque Terre village was steep and challenging but amazingly scenic. Recommend being in good shape if you go here without mass transit
Accessibility to a where I had to park was a bit of a chore (approx 1/2 Km away) along with ascending to the top floor. Not their fault but restaurants, if they're even open, are hard to get into during the low season.

The best view in the whole town, just spectacular! Very clean and comfortable. Bed is super comfortable. Bath robes and slippers provided. Little kitchenette perfect for whipping up a quick pasta dish (no knives though, so just be aware). Pretty easy/quick to get to from the train station.
These aren’t negatives at all, but just some things to be aware of if you’re coming to Cinque Terre for the first time: there are a lot of steep stairs. It is a four story climb to the top of the room. Extremely steep. There is no transportation or luggage services to the actual building itself. The other thing to be aware of is there is no reception desk or customer service for this property - I’m pretty sure this is just an AirBnB advertised on Booking.Com. The people reviewing the rude customer service is probably because their thinking it’s a hotel service, which I totally understand (the communication is pretty bad but just hang in there, the guy comes through with the goods eventually!) It’s definitely worth staying at, so don’t let this put you off, but there are some abnormalities you will not be used to if you mainly stay in hotels and major cities. I would rethink staying in Cinque Terre in general if you cannot climb stairs or are not very active.

Sunset view, capsule coffee machine, toiletries distinguished aroma, soft bathrobes
Communication of premises representative, impolite, neglecting the use of booking messenger, no welcoming amenities, the honeymoon suite was not up to expectations, no assistance offered/provided for luggage, inconvenience in reaching the premises with luggage due to the huge amount of stairs before and inside the building

Great location with sunset view
Very low/bad WiFi connection. No greetings and everything for money (water, coffee).
Aircon split on the balcony so hot air blowing while you want to enjoy the outdoor. But no way to switch it off as it is shared with other apartment.
Stairs to get to 4th floor but you get used to it in cinque terre !-)

Incredible location, breakfast was a feast, room was clean, nice and modern. Wifi and smart TV worked well as did the AC
Nothing really - stairs up aren't the easiest, but worth it once you get to the top.

The accommodation was fabulous. We had to climb
55 stairs with a suitcase but it was so worth it . The view from the balcony was amazing, we could see all the boats coming and going as well as the spectacular view of Riomaggiore. We loved the set up and decor of the inside. Having beach towels slippers and robes was a bonus . It was extremely quiet.

the location! the view at sunset! it’s amazing!!
no contact with an actual
person. extremely difficult to get to with no explanation or service to bring luggage. we laughed our stuff in and out on a very steep hill.

We enjoyed the view. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The bed was comfortable.
The staff communication was rude. There was no assistance with luggage. The local porter refused to assist because he won't deal with this establishment. The direction to this location was minimal and the stairs up were so difficult especially with luggage.

location and views were amazing
the apartment is a bedsit, which is fine, just very small and no lounge

it was great - great location.
Everything was great except hot plate was not working and did not get fixed while we were there - so we could not cook or heat up any food. it could have been replaced or fixed - our only option was to eat out - and restaurants weren’t open late. No discount was offered for this inconvenience.

the location was amazing and right on the harbour’s edge with stunning sea views.
unfortunately we struggled with tepid warm water. would have been manageable if it wasn’t such chilly weather. the lights kept flickering and the kitchen wasn’t very well equipped even to just have a light breakfast before heading out.

The obvious pros would be the view, the location, the interiors of the rooms. But that's about it.
Though we expected the climb since it's in Cinque Terre and it's a rooftop unit, but the stairs were horrible and hazardous. They were scattered on each floor and not uniformed, too steep and no handrail, just a makeshift rope rails at the side. Would be helpful if the property had provided contact details for the luggage service earlier on before arriving.
Faulty power outlets, maybe a good 3-4 outlets are usable, hard to share with more than 2 people. Toilet seat wobbles a lot. The kitchen doesn't have enough utensils, no knife / scissors, no extra trash bag, no kitchen towel. Worst of all they gave us smelly used sponges for the dishes, had to buy our own utensils. Stair case uses the timer lights but can't be turned on from the top floor, so you're going down blind.
The ultimate insult for us was arriving half dead to the room, drenched in sweat after dragging the luggages up the deadly stairs, to be greeted with bottled water costing €3 each. Really doesn't cost much to provide 1-2 free water for your guests after going through the trouble.

The villa is amazing! super cozy with a modern charm and simple but elegant decor, enough space to enjoy the getaway and the views are phenomenal!!! if you have any bags you will need to call or book some kind of luggage service to assist with getting bags to the Villa. it’s super steep and quite scary.
the stairs up to the Villa are super dark and there were no instructions on how to keep them on at night as it’s scary trying to climb several flights on stairs with no secure railing. the door to the Villa got closed one day and the hosts is not onsite we were finally able to get it open with the key card. a few logistics should be noted to guest before arrival such as contacts for help with luggage, instructions for lights to the stairs and notice that if you shut the brown door you cannot get it unlocked so keep it open.
