Lovely location, bit disappointed with the accommodation.

Lovely view from lounge.

Kitchen a bit small. Location of bathroom wasn’t ideal from the bedroom wasn’t ideal . Despite leaving the bathroom fan on and window in the bedroom open, mould accumulated in the bedroom.

Nice location

What I liked most is that the double doors in the living space open directly to outside. The bedroom room, despite being dark and small, is comfortable. Location is a plus. It’s 10 minutes walk away from all the actions, but on the quiet side of the river.

Small space-it’s living room, dining room and kitchen 3 in 1. Also be aware of the low kitchen fan.

Poor back of apartment didn’t spoil my view on Looe

The location was amazing. The living room and kitchen were well equipped and comfortable. The view from the little terrace was beautiful and we spent most of our time here reading, chatting to neighbours…… I fell in love with the place.

The back of the property spoilt it for us. The bathroom is disgusting, grout needs replacing immediately, shower screen also. This bathroom was not clean. I mentioned this to the owner (who was next door) who said she was having it looked at. The bedroom was most uncomfortable ( it looked nice) smelt of damp, was damp and felt damp. The bedding was cold and damp.

I would stay here again if it gets some refurb

Excellent views any time of day or weather! The flat is located close to the town centre and quite close to the railway station, so don't worry if you don't have a car (I think it's even better without a car because driving and parking in Looe and general in Cornwall is crazy). The kitchen is fully equipped but to be honest - you wouldn't need most of the things as there is a lot of restaurants and cafes around. The check-in process was very fast (keys waiting in the box), I've got lots of useful information before arriving as well. Nice touches and sea theme in the flat; it wasn't another soulless studio. Beware, seagulls cry night and day! ;)

The bathroom was a bit moldy, it needs deep cleaning or renovating. The flat wasn't dirty but wasn't spotless clean too, for example the couch should get new material (stains, ripped material in some places) or at least deep cleaning; the counters in the kitchen were covered in dust. The matress indeed wasn't comfortable, but it was okay for a 2 nights stay. One toilet roll for 2 people for 2 nights wasn't enough; I think the spare one should be at least hidden in a cupboard.

The terrace & outside seats were very dirty - someone came to clean these after we complained In need of decoration and general maintenance - eg door to main room not closing, no bottom door shelf in fridge for bottles. Dangerous peeling laminate on fridge door - plus more!

Beautiful little apartment , wonderful location above the harbour over looking Looe fish market. Lovely views watching the boats coming and going. Everything you need for a home from home break. Parking nearby ( millpool ) 5 minutes walk. Easy to unload luggage before hand. Good communication from the owner for arrivals and departure. 2 nights not long enough for exploring the beautiful town and surroundings. Would stay again for sure. The sardine factory restaurant a few mins away, the best seafood in town. Wonderful mini break..

Property was spotless and in a excellent location with superb views....most of the pubs served decent food and very good beer and wine .Kellys fish shop was OK but portion size was a bit small especially for the cost.

Parking was about 5 minutes from the property with some car parks a little pricey for 24hrs but if you go down behind the amusement arcade rheres a small car park to the side of looe chandlery and it only costs £2.45 for 24hrs .

Enjoyable overall but let down by the lack of basic items in the apartment

Location is superb. Wonderful views from living room windows.

Bathroom light not working. No washing up brush or toilet brush. Kitchen had only 2 table knives. Champagne flutes but no ordinary wine glasses. For £130 per night we expected it to be better equipped and maintained.

Great view. Close to all amenities. Good heating and hot water system. Nice terrace.

Although the bed was comfortable a king size would be preferable. Oven was difficult to manage. Larger tv needed.

Wonderful view over the harbour

The position of this apartment was wonderful, perched above the harbour. It was a pleasant walk into West and East Looe. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a short stay. There were a couple of minor issues, which were solved immediately by the housekeeper.

There is no parking nearby, so be prepared for a walk. We were able to unload our car outside the property.

Just what we needed for a short break

Great location lovely to sit on terrace with a coffee and watch the goings on at the harbour

Toilet seat loose. Flush seemed to keep running ages after pulled. It was Very clean apart from the mugs the fold out table was very dusty by legs and there was dust inside the wardrobe

Would recommend to anyone looking for spectacular views alongside a fantastic apartment.

The apartment and communal area has been recently decorated and the whole place looks fresh and clean. Polmear is so cosy and warm for a winter stay. Will definitely come back hopefully on holiday next time. I stayed here many years ago and it was lovely to see that the whole apartment had maintained its original charm alongside its new decoration. The outside seating area is wonderful and the short stroll to town is a joy with the coming and going of the old fishing boats. I have recommended this apartment to many friends over the years and hope to come again for years to come.
