About this house rental
Brilliantly located on the waters edge in the heart of Looe, with fabulous views, the Salt Loft is an absolute gem. It has a stunning interior offering comfortable accommodation for four.
The open plan lounge kitchen diner is a beautiful space with high beamed ceiling and windows overlooking the river. Double doors open up so guests can sit and enjoy watching the boats come and go right on their doorstep. The lounge area has comfortable leather sofas, a 32" TV and Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is well equipped with four ring gas hob, electric oven, extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine and washing machine.
The master bedroom with king size double bed is a stylish room which again overlooks the river. There is a lovely twin room at the back of the property and a striking shower room with large walk in shower.
The Salt Loft has gas central heating to ensure a cosy stay all year round.
Looes many shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are all within a very short walk, as is the beach and with a luxury artisan ice-cream shop below, guests at the Salt Loft will be sure of the full cornish fishing village holiday experience. Parking is available in a large public car park the Millpool a 5-10 minute walk from the property. Please see the facilities tab for further details and accessibility.

Perfect location right on the quay, up 12steps up to the entrance (there is a handrail) to a delightful apartment, so cosy and very comfortable. view from all windows a delight! Very well equipped. High standard of decor and furnishings. Emma (the owner) very attentive and keen to make sure we contacted her for anything (which we didn’t need to) the property is literally minutes away from an intriguing area of quaint shops, restaurants and pubs- some buildings date back centuries. Grocery stores all within easy walking distance- in fact one doesn’t require a car here other than travelling further afield for sightseeing -except we didn’t feel the need as plenty of walks locally. We absolutely would love to return here- Thank-you Emma for your care attention -and squeezing me an appt in for a lovely manicure 😀 (directly underneath the apartment is a lovely beauty salon) we cannot recommend this accommodation enough

Das Objekt entspricht ziemlich genau den inserierten Fotos. Es war sogar etwas hochwertiger als erwartet. Sehr helle Räume, toller Ausblick auf das Meer/Fluß, gute Küchenausstattung. Die Lage ist optimal, wenn man gerne direkt im Geschehen ist. Leute die Ruhe suchen sind hier jedoch falsch und sollten sich eine andere Ecke suchen. Morgens hört man die Fischer rausfahren, ab 8:00 Uhr stehen die ersten Krabben-Fischer am Pier. Oftmals sind das ganze Großfamilien die stundenlang Krabben fischen... scheint hier Volkssport zu sein ;-)
Fazit: tolle Wohnung, tolle Lage und tolle Ausstattung.
Zwei negative Punkte gibt es jedoch: keine Spühlmaschine und kein Parkplatz vor dem Haus (man muß ca. 500m entfernt auf einem öffentlichen Parkplatz parken was jeden Tag 6 Pfund kostet... der nahe Parkplatz im Dorfzentrum kostet das dreifache)
