About this apartment rental

Located in West Looe, Trade Winds is the ground floor flat of a converted house which dates back to the late 1890's. Uninterrupted views of the Harbour, East Looe, Beach and out to Sea can be seen from the Large Bay windows/door in the Lounge and the main bedroom.

Set back from the main road, the property has its own entrance at the front accessed via the path from the road.

Looe is built around an estuary which leads to the sea and most of the properties in West Looe are built on the hillside. The access to Trade Winds is via a zig-zag ascending slope from the road. There are also steps up to Hannafore Lane which runs along the back of the house.

Unfortunately we don't have parking at the property, but there is free on street parking available on Hannafore Point (5-10 mins walk) or Pay and Display car parks on West Looe Quay (2 mins walk) or the Mill Pool Car Park (5 min walk along the harbour). You can stop close to the property to unload/load.

The property has been completely refurbished (April 2017) with new furnishings throughout, but mixed with some original features to maintain the properties character.

This apartment has stunning views over the harbour and sea . The apartment is cosy and comfortable and we loved sitting in the bay window looking at the view . It’s a short walk to East Looe which its vibrant little streets and pubs and restaurants and lovely sandy beach .

Lovely , clean apartment in a Victorian house overlooking Looe harbour . Attention to detail , we stayed over Christmas, and there was a decorated Christmas tree and fairy lights outside on the balcony . Nice touch ! Only one criticism, the duvets were not thick enough for the winter ! ! Overall we loved our stay .

A lovely apartment in a great position in Looe close to good walks the town close by and plenty of independent shops/restaurants/coffee shops within a 10 min walk. The accommodation is warm and welcoming and really spacious for 4 people the view from the lounge was amazing! We will love to return 😊

If you’re looking for spectacular views then this is the place for you. It’s quite a steep path up to the house but it’s worth it.

This lovely apartment is located in a picturesque area atop a high hill, with beautiful views of the ocean, the harbor, and the quaint town of Looe. The apartment is large and comfortable. Note that this is a self-serve property which requires you to bring some supplies---you should check what you need to bring beforehand. Apartment is accessed by steep sidewalks which may present a challenge for those with limited mobility. It was not a problem for us, however. We loved it and would return again.

We love this accommodation. All the facilities that we need. We eat in and out so the fully equipped kitchen is great. Having breakfast in the bay window overlooking the harbour is wonderful. The apartment is clean and airy. Booking was easy and good contact with owner.

We stayed at St Crispins in May and booked again for August. Once again had a super stay. St Crispins is lovely and clean (comfortable beds) and wonderful views. I really enjoyed my cup of tea in the morning. Looking at the boats setting out to sea and watching Looe getting ready for the day. Whilst St Crispins is available to book, it will be our number one choice. We all highly recommend it.

We had three nights in the apartment & it was everything we hoped it would be. The apartment was well fitted out & comfortable, the patio doors from the lounge & the master bedroom made it all the more special as the view from the town was stunning. Will definitely be back

Very well appointed apartment with a great view and a convenient location -- apart from the lack of parking immediately next to the property. Immaculately clean and bright. Well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds. Outside steps may be a challenge for older folk or those with limited mobility. Altogether a very attractive place!

This is a wonderful property with amazing views of Looe. It is very clean and well-decorated. The only downside is that it is challenging to get to (would not recommend for anyone with mobility challenges) and parking is not close-by. Otherwise, it’s fantastic!

This is a really lovely apartment with a homely feel and stylish furnishings. The veranda is amazing as it gives you the opportunity to sit and watch looe wake up by day and twinkle by night, you really feel like you are on holiday! Steep approach but fine for all able bodied persons and keeps you fit! We loved this place!
