Excellent. A place to come back to.

The facility itself is located in a peaceful, out-of-the center area, but in short distance to the center. Home delivery of food is an option if one likes to eat in. In the (shared) kitchen, all kitchen tools and appliances are available if one wants to cook or to heat up own food. The rooms are modern, spacious and quiet. A fridge is available to use within the room. Shower accessories are provided. I also do not understand some of the reviews about heating or noise. The heating works fine and as I mentioned earlier, it is a facility right out into nature with nice views around the property, located on a small land road. The host is friendly and really cared about making sure I was being happy. I will definitely go back.

Quiet and convenient location. Large room. Newish bathroom with large shower and comfortable bed. Easy Nespresso coffee in the kitchen. No fuss. Great host. Free parking. Photos don’t do it justice.

Grand Designs meets Fabulous Country Idyll

Wow! The property is stupendous and truly idyllic. You are so close to life and to Brussels and yet you hear not a sound. I slept like a baby. All you could think of from a room refrigerator, to toiletries, to hair dryers and fresh towels, internet and TV streaming is there. But, the twist is that this place feels like home. I loved the coffee machines, and the lovely little chocolates added as an extra - great for midnight feasts !! Also, I was very late arriving as my Euro Shuttle decided it was on strike! The host waited up for me with humour, courtesy and great humour. Nothing was too much trouble for this amazing host who is also a fantastic artist.

Cozy and comfortable but not clean.

the room was cozy and comfortable, not expensive, and in a nice location.

It was very noisy, we could hear other people talk in their rooms. The towels smelled moldy and there were many spiders in the room. Also there was no information about how to check in and our messages were not replied. They did pick up the phone when we called.

I liked spacious fully equipped rooms, spacious dining area, quiet surroundings, fridge in the dining area and the rooms. Clean room, bath, dining area.

A charming countryside retreat with great hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere.

The location was peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature. The room was very clean and cozy, and the host was kind and welcoming. It was a perfect place to relax and disconnect.

There was nothing major to complain about. Maybe just a small improvement in the Wi-Fi signal in some areas of the house.

- Public transport is a little walk away and the distance from Halle station. That’s an acceptable trade-off considering I was looking for a countryside stay.

mold, not recommended!

When we arrived, we discovered mold on the outside wall. We contacted Booking and the landlord directly to move out of the accommodation as we could not be offered an alternative room. We did not get any money back, although the accommodation did not seem habitable to us due to the mold.

Cheap, but not worth your money

Location

I use booking.com a lot because I often travel for work, but this will be my first negative review. Yes, it's not expensive. But you get what you pay for, and it's not much. As you cross the hall to the rooms, you pass a robot vacuum cleaner. This is probably also the one thing that does most of the cleaning in the rooms. The bathroom wasn't too bad, but the whole room is full of dust webs, and there is more dust on the lamps on the wall than in a room that has not been used/cleaned for several weeks. The owner uses someone, who I suspect is the son, to take care of everything, but the poor boy barely knows anything about receiving guests. After arrival you also have to show patience and you will not be helped immediately. They make you wait outside for so long that you start to doubt that you have come to the right place. And finally, if you travel for work. Don't expect an invoice. Apparently this is very difficult, but they still choose not to warn you in advance. After several reminders and even involving booking.com customer service, I have not received an invoice. Even if it is cheap, it is not worth your money

Wonderful , comfortable beds ,warm and has a kitchen if you want to cook

We were a little out of town which is what we loved , but hungry so Emanuel ordered us Pizza and wine from Pizza Hut ! Awesome cose we are travelling on a motorcycle and it was raining! Cheap and quiet. Equip your kitchen better. Cute dog.

The bed was really comfortable. I didnt meet any owners/staff, but I did meet their dog, who was super cute and cuddly. And the place was lovely and quiet.

Friendly suggestion: we like to cook for ourselves but the kitchen wasnt quite equipped enough. A new frying pan would be nice, as well as some wooden spoons and some other utensils. There was plenty of coffee available, but as a tea drinker, I was sad there were no tea options at all. Also, we paid for cleaning, but apart from the bed, there rest wasnt so clean. But the place was cheap to stay at, so it wasnt a big deal for us.

Overall good stay, no problems and very cozy rooms.

Very nice rooms. The entrance is a bit weird but the rest is really nice. Excellent value for your money. no noise and no problems at all.

There was a bit of dust on the shelf above the bed, but that was already everything that is not so well. The rest of the room was very clean. We were greated by a german shepherd (whoch for us is no problem) which could be a problem for people who fear dogs.

Peaceful getaway from hustle and bustle

I was skeptical at the beginning but once I entered the property, felt really well. A big property with lush green garden around. Ample parking space for free, rooms are spacious and well maintained. Facilities are really well. A common kitchen is available for everyone to use. Bathroom is private and spacious. Overall a really good place to stay and have fun.

Nice place but simple

A very nice location. Surrounded by fields. Very quite and peaceful. The room is big and had everything we needed (private big shower, coffee machine, and a small fridge). The kitchen is for the use of everybody.

There was no one to accept us, not even a description of how to self-check in. There were several entrances and one of them had a paper with a phone number on it (luckily we had a phone that we could use to call otherwise we did not know what to do), the owner told us our room number (he was very friendly on the phone). But we did not see him or hear from him the whole week. We stayed almost a whole week, but there was no changing of towels or garbage cans, we had to do that ourselves.

No big problems, value for money.

Our room, once we accessed it, was nicely decorated and clean. The bed was comfortable, the wifi good, the coffee maker and bathroom likewise. Emile, who showed us to our room was very helpful. We felt that the price of our stay represented good value for money.

We had some difficulty accessing the property. Our room was not ready for us when we tried to check in- apparently the previous guest had been unwell (!) and had left late ( not great to hear in these post(?) COVID days). The communal areas of this lodging were somewhat grubby, although our personal room was clean. There were a couple of small holes in our under sheet, possibly cigarette burns, but it was clean, and the duvet was warm. There was a bit of a “niff “ that pervaded the establishment - possibly the septic tank needed emptying, but we eventually went “nose -blind” as the advert has it- and to be fair we smelt this smell a lot in rural Belgium. it was not clear at all from the room description on Booking. Com which facilities were personal to the room, and which were communal. FYI the room had Netflix TV, WiFi, coffee maker, mini fridge and en-suite shower room, and a desk area. Other facilities were communal.

The owner Emmanuel was very helpful and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the swimming pool and sun loungers were just what we needed. Lovely, friendly dog too.
