Historic Brussels

Location is very, very nice. The street below the appartment is not too busy. Main attraction are two full height balcony doors that offer quite a nice view of the street and neatly decorated and well maintained houses accross the street. The ceilings are quite high and so are the double doors. Basically, everything that is geniune to this house is great. The appartment had some books and a nice old chess/checkers game.

Every bit of furniture that was not old and solid wood was kinda mismatched, all over the place a bit worn and cheap. The bed was a little dirty but not too gross, well used and cheap but it did not destroy my back. The kitchen and bathroom worked and there was not to much mold anywhere (except the washing machine!) but both places are a bit unergonomic (weird placement of half tub, sink, toilet etc. It has a vibe of average student appartment, just without wifi. Not great, not terrible.

L’établissement est situé à un emplacement idéal, dans le centre de Bruxelles. L’hôte a été extrêmement gentil et nous a laissé arriver à l’appartement à 10h le jour de l’arrivée et repartir à 18h le jour du départ comme il n’y avait pas de gens juste avant/après. Pour le prix c’est vraiment incroyable.

L’établissement avait, comme le mentionnaient les commentaires, quelques soucis de propreté. Nous l’avions pris en connaissance de cause, et donc en dormant dans des sacs de couchage (sinon les draps ont des taches) et en nettoyant un peu la salle de bains, ça fait l’affaire et ça n’a pas perturbé le séjour mais c’est à savoir/à améliorer.

Τhe location is great, very close to Brussels Central, Grand Place, and a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood!

It is an old house, and it needs to be a bit cleaner. But the total feeling is very good !! It also needs a light in the first corridor, especially if you arrive at night! The property has a lot of books, and you feel like you're at home!

The bathroom, and, especially the shower and its curtain, could use some attention
