Easy check in, comfy bed, very clean, friendly hosts and good breakfast

Struggled to park at the time we arrived. Squeaky floorboards (bit noisey when trying to sneak to bathroom during the night). Could hear other guests but didnt disturb us too much

Breakfast was fabulous and the lady who served us was lovely and very helpful about local places to visit. Location was also good.

Room 4 was a bit of a disappointment. Very small and bathroom was tiny and a bit tatty. On the top floor, so a lot of stairs. For £129 a night in February, I expected better.

The location was good, ten minutes walk to the centre of Alnwick. Easy to find and park. The breakfast was good, plenty of choice and good quality. Bed was comfy.

The house was cold, there was no one there when I arrived nor that night at about 4pm. Heating was on but it was only at 17 degrees and never got any warmer. I was out a concert in the evening and by the time I got back at 11pm the house was very cold, heating off completely. The quilt seemed like a summer quilt and there were no blankets so it was a very cold bed. Struggled to get to sleep because of the cold and that continued through the night, would manage to get to sleep then wake up feeling cold. And I'm from Scotland so used to the cold. There were no hooks on the doors to hang coats up, there was nowhere to hang towels except on the radiator. When I went down to breakfast, the owner was there and the heating was finally on. Turns out there had been a problem with the boiler but was only resolved when he got back that morning. The path leading up to the house was uneven and there was no lighting so had to be careful, especially as it had been raining. Also no light at the front door and there were three keys to choose from so wasn't easy to see the keys. Don't know how long he has owned the property and he had recently re decorated the dining room so could be there are plans to upgrade the whole property, but it felt tired and unloved.

Our room was larger than we expected as was the bathroom. Immaculately clean and comfortable with extra touches such as the mini fridge containing a jug of milk and bottles of water. Lots of storage space too and a bench surface for making drinks! Very comfy bed. Lots of choice at breakfast which was outstanding.

Location suited well. But we had to serve our own breakfast from the fridge. The price of the stay led to better expectations.

I felt like I was sleeping in the bathroom. Very basic and not up to the price of the room. I was surprised to be asked to check out so early.

EvaAnna is set in a great location in stunning Alnwick. Well presented house .Very clean rooms,comfortable beds ,linens and towels very good quality. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice .Friendly staff who were helpful with our needs and informing us about beautiful Northumberland. Would highly recommend and we will return. Thankyou for a great stay.

Breakfast was excellent. Good choice of cereals and filling English breakfast served and cooked by very friendly staff. Eveanna perfectly situated in town
