Awesome location and nice rooms but a minimum effort maintained ghost hotel

Location is excellent and the room and furniture was modern and beautiful. The hotline for checkin and checkout was fast and kind.

There were quite alot of things bothering me. The online tool for checkin and checkout didnt work at all, i think it should cuz well its all about self checkin. Luckily the hotline was available, however they first assigned us a room which was not cleaned up yet (see photo), so we had to call again and go to the lobby again, to change the key After finally getting our room, some things werent well maintained. The fridge didnt work at all, we only got one teacup no spoon no teabags (we booked for 2 people). Also the water faucet handles (basin and shower) are stuck and hard to use. Additionally I texted them three times via bookingcom for some requests (wifi, cleanup and checkout question) and they only bothered to answer the first time I asked about the wifi. My other 2 requests were unanswered. For me it just seems like an minimal effort maintained ghost hotel. I definitely prefer staffed hotels after this experience.

Flooding walls and mold, lots of broken fixtures, very disappointing stay. Would not recommend.

The room was spacious, the bed was pretty comfortable, I liked the tv and that there was a tub in our room. The view out our window was nice and location was pretty central. They were kind enough to let us store our bags in the old breakfast room for a few hours after check out which I really appreciated.

Oof where do I start. The check in process was not intuitive, I booked shortly before arriving and had to call to have someone help me program a room key for myself. I was travelling internationally and have to pay fees for calls. I also booked this room specifically because I wanted to be in a building with an elevator since my sister is disabled and has mobility issues, but we were on the 4th floor and the elevator only went to the 3rd, so we had to carry all our luggage up two flights of stairs. When we did get in, some of the light fixtures didn't work at all (bedroom and living room), there was a broken window that was only partially closed and took me a good 20 minutes to fix to be able to close it and made it unusable, the kitchen sink wasn't connected to water, and the kitchen didn't have anything in it (cookware, plates, utensils). Even just a fork and plate would have been nice since we ordered in food. I was excited to use the tub after a lot of travelling and walking, but lots of water leaked THROUGH THE WALLS and into the bedroom and all along the perimeter of the bathroom and along the wall where the pipes run a couple hours after my bath. I was shocked, but then I noticed this is clearly on ongoing issue since I could see signs of water damage and mold on the walls, floors, baseboards etc.. I have asthma and mold is a big trigger and health hazard, so this was pretty upsetting to discover whilst trying to get some rest. It was also a big mess to clean so it wouldn't get my luggage and belongings wet. Since the ceilings are sloped I also hit my head on the ceilings several times even though I'm only average height. Additionally, the cleaning staff came knocking on our door 30 minutes before checkout which made us very uncomfortable, and there's no manual lock on the door which made me feel like we didn't have much for privacy and safety as women travelling alone.

I get that it’s self checkin, but a boutique hotel really should have personality, with no staff this place really is just a simple hotel, don’t expect any nice additions, simple, clean, nothing more. Remove the boutique branding and it’s all as described.

Room and forniture are nice. Position is good.

There is no receptionist so you can only call in case of issues. The password of the Wi-Fi was not written somewhere. We had only 1 bathrobe and they could not provide the second one. Breakfast could be better. Hot water for tea was cold, orange juice machine not working (they said both temporary problem), no vegan milk options, no cappuccino available. Quality of the products medium. I feel that in general it does not feel like a boutique hotel and the price is not okay for the service provided.

All in all a pleasant experience. Staff needs to pay more attention to detail.

The room was comfortable and clean. Lighting is good and comfortable beds. Though the room was quiet in regard to keeping out noise from other guests in the hotel, it is located next to a busy street where traffic can be heard.

An open drink was left in the fridge from the guests before us. The windows were dirty on the outside. Breakfast could be a bit more intuitive. Arrangement of food didn't make sense. Instructions needed for coffee machine.

Nice facilities but a hotel with no personnel

Big room, well equipped, clean; huge bathroom. Location in the center of the small city. Nice place to stay if it wasn't for this absence of personnel that makes the place odd.

I stayed in this hotel 2 years back and I loved it. This time around there was no personnel except cleaning staff in the morning and it made a difference. No one to help, no one to advise tourists, no one to ensure security or keep your luggage (door is constantly open and access to floors free; ok we are in a very safe part of Switzerland, but still), no one to answer the phone. I had hard time doing the check out. No oThe place is deteriorating e.g., the breakfast used to be wonderful; now coffee machine half broken; orange juice machine not available, and offer became very standard. The restaurant was closed, in the middle of July. Very strange impression.

Close to main street. A bit noisy. And a bit funny but church bells rigs loudelly. Check in is via online website. Was not easy. We finally managed, but it was hard. But after us come German tourists (couple) un with they androin phone they could not check in at all. They was promised that someone from staff will come in a minute. But after we come down I met them in bar and they still was sitting and waiting. And after another hours still nobody come. Finally bar manager (already called host 3 times) managed to upload electronical key. And guests was able to go to their room. So this was not nice from hotel managment or owner.

Spacious and clean hotel. Right in the centre of Bad Ragaz where you can walk to everything in the town.

In our 2 night stay I saw zero members of staff apart from the lady putting out breakfast. This is basically a self service hotel, check in and out on your phone or the iPad. If you have any issues or queries it would probably be a while getting them sorted as you need to phone someone. Breakfast was OK, but could be better compared to other places of the same price.

Central location, decent breakfast, comfortable and well equipped rooms

Unattended reception, and no key card left in my name. Eventually got through to someone on the phone who activated a card for us. Unfortunately someone else was already in the room he gave us, so this caused us and them some consternation. Eventually managed to get a room, but a very awkward check-in process. Offered advanced check-in via email as an 'option', turns out it was more necessary than optional, although their webpage was very clumsy when I tried to check in online once we arrived

There was a glitch in the self check-in system. We were only able to do so with the help of the Restaurant staff. A clean, comfortable, modern and centrally located Hotel. Again, a special recognition to the Restaurant staff for their help and professionalism.
