What an exceptional experience! Margaret and Blair were such great hosts and we so enjoyed meeting them. We stayed in the King Suite and it was amazing - a comfortable sitting area with special welcome treats left there for us, a very comfortable bed with plenty of room to hang our clothes, and a huge bathroom with tub and shower. Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of fresh fruit and cereals to begin with before the rest of the meal arrived perfectly cooked and so good. We had evaluated other properties on Islay at a similar price point and definitely made the right decision. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else on the island.

Nothing they can control - unfortunately the two days we were there the weather was rainy and at times pretty foggy. We were able to get out on the island during breaks in the rain, but overall we missed seeing what I am sure were beautiful views in the sunshine. A good reason to go back!

Breakfast was outstanding in every respect. Great choice and good service. Home baking appreciated in particular. Ambiance in dining room warm and welcoming. Host and hostess friendly and helpful. Best accommodation of its class ever.

Nothing not to like or admire. A remarkable establishment.
