The location is fantastic as it’s right in the heart of the city, round the corner from the shambles and all local attractions. The apartment is spacious and has a lot of character to it
Just a few minor issues, the second room we were greeted to a broken curtain rail, it was halfway up on arrival and needs replaced (photo attached)
The tvs in the room are not the best of quality, signaling issues and the remote hardly worked so hard to switch channels. Other than this nothing else

Loved the apartment, just unfortunate there was some work going on across the street and they came to start putting up scaffolding at about 4am
There wasn't anything apart from disturbed nights but that was outside your control

Really central and a beautiful, well equipped apartment. Amazing sound proofing from the streets below.
Unfortunately it was very hot when we visited and without any air con the apartment was unbearably hot and uncomfortable. Opening windows didn’t help due to the noise outside.

Perfect location in the centre of York. Even though we were on a busy street it was quiet. There were road works outside but the noise was minimal. It was a light and spacious apartment, very comfortable and clean. Pubs, food outlets and attractions were just steps away so it was easy to return for an hours rest before setting out again. Already booked for later this year and again next year. This is the place to stay in York.
Getting the keys was a bit of a mither. Lock box was at floor level. I'm 62 and Dad is 83 so we did struggle a bit to get them. That was the only issue we had. Having said that we have still booked return visits.
