Beautiful, spacious and ultra clean apartment with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Hosts were very quick to reply to any questions we had, via msg. Also in a very central position, convenient for the town centre. We visit York every year for the races (Ebor festival), so it was great that there was a brilliant full length mirror in one of the bedrooms and plenty of wall mirrors throughout the apt. Those little extras, like shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner in the bathroom. And tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper and washing up liquid, dishwasher and laundry tablets (not that we used the washing machine), were all a big bonus, for an easy stay.

The number of stairs/flights of stairs to climb. But we were a group of women in our 60’s and Tbf we did know, from reviews that this was the case. Difficulty figuring out how to work the tv, and how to open the windows to let some air in. Hosts were very quick to respond when we asked for help via msg.

The location was great - near York Minster, the Shambles and the city wall. The rooms were bright and clean

Four flights of narrow steep stairs with no elevator for luggage, streets closed to driving, so we had to carry luggage .4 of a mile. Took us a long time to find parking anywhere nearby. No lock on bathroom door. Beds not comfortable. No air conditioning, even though the web page clearly states 'heating and air conditioning'. No screens in windows, so lots of flies inside. Lots of noise from the street. Need better communication on what to expect, where to park and how to locate the place. It's very well hidden.
