Great value, spotlessly clean, well-equipped

The house was warm and spotlessly clean. It was simple to enter the property and parking was good. My room was well-equipped and nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. I used the kitchen toaster and microwave both of which were simple to use. The kitchen had plenty of crockery and utensils. The bathroom on the first floor was spacious and the shower was great. The location was good for me as I was attending an event at Benn Hall which was about an 8 minute walk away.

Nothing! It would have been useful to have a tray in the kitchen for taking my dinner up to my room.

Clean facilities, room was spotless, free WiFi and TV in room.

Lack of kitchen, there was a small area with microwave, kettle, toaster and a tabletop cooker. OK if you are eating out every night. But for longer stays I would have liked a full kitchen

Staying at Bourton House was most enjoyable, very comfortable, offering all the necessary facilities

the location is perfect being so close to the town centre. It is also in a relatively quiet area and feels very secure. The room I stayed in was spacious and next to the bathroom facilities.

No signage to indicate this was Bourton House; made it more difficult to find. (Make sure you know code to open lockbox which they email you - this is the only way to access the house; no staff on site although phone number/email contacts provided).

Great Expectations that were surpassed

The location was very good for the city centre. The house was very well kept to a very high standard. The room where stayed was well designed, comfortable with tea & coffee making facilities and television.

Home from home is the word to sum up my stay.

The high standard of the upkeep of the property, the quality of the decor from the foor to the celiling. All the you might need had been thoughtout from arrival to departure.

There was nothing that you could complain about, and I mean nothing.

Get idea, unfortunately disappointing

The distance between the accommodation and the venue I attended. It was a very short walk to Rugby Indian Association where I went dancing and having a few beers. Some might say perfect!

I was very lucky to get a space out the door however if I hadn't there were no clear directions to the car park behind the property. It was difficult to initially get in as the key box was difficult to see and then the key didn't work. I had a good night and found that the front door key from room bunch worked perfectly. I got into my room went to the kitchen to fill my kettle, boiled it then switched on the bed side lamp and TV perfect you think however within a couple of minutes channel hopping there was a click and all the power points in the room went dead! So I could not charge my phone but that didn't matter too much as the WiFi router had gone off as well! It could have been worse I guess at least the main light in the room and the rest of the lights worked!

Very enjoyable & comfortable stay.

Breakfast - Not Applicable. Location was close to town center. The house was shared with parking for 4 vehicles in rear carpark. Room 15 was comfortable with shared bathroom containing WC & shower. There were cooking facilities in the kitchen if you wanted to cook a meal. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance away, 10-15mins. The host Lyndsey was very nice & contactable by mobile phone.

There was nothing that I didn't like.
