The location is perfect. Right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. Never a far walk for all of the sights. It is located in a medieval corridor of the city. It is very old. The stairs are quite small and steep. I do not recommend for anyone with physical limitations. Our host was very easy to get in touch with and responded quickly. We had an issue with the plumbing that host took care of immediately but it wasn’t cleaned very well we kept finding evidence of the guests. Other than those issues I’d recommend this locale to anyone who wants to get a taste of all the history, shopping and dining all right around you no matter which way you turn!

We were family of 15 visiting Florence for the Christmas Holiday and were extremely disappointed in the accommodations. Kitchens were small & unusable. Freezer was frozen and unusable. Apartments had unfinished repairs and was just so uncomfortable with a family with small children. The apartment was filled with beds everywhere...no comfortable living space anywhere. We don't mind small rooms...but there was no open space anywhere. Bed linens were dirty and several of us contracted bed bugs. This place should not be allowed on VRBO...we count on this company to screen the accommodations. We arrived and it seemed that people had just left and nothing was left clean. The showers had used soap and bathing products - which is unacceptable. Maybe a younger group could endure such a place...but my guess is the bed bugs still would be unwelcome to any group. We spent as little time as possible in the apartment because of the living conditions. The only positive was the location...a few steps from the Duomo. They need to clean up their act here - would not recommend for anyone.

The property was as promised, old European, with remodeled bathrooms. It was on the third floor which offered daily exercising. It was roomy, sleeping our 13 family members, and had everything we needed. Fredrik and his wife were amazing landlords and responded immediately each time we called.

The property was perfect for our group of 11, plenty of bathrooms, clean and well appointed. The location can’t be beat as it was right in the historic center. We were glad to have just carry on sized bags as there is not an elevator and steep stairs up 2 flights.

The house slept 16 comfortably and the location is fabulous- in one minute of walking you are at the Duomo. Frederik and his wife were wonderful, even going out of their way to help us retrieve a passport one of our group left behind. I most highly recommend this place!
