We had a wonderful time in Florence. Our accommodations were lovely. Close to everything. Only wish they had more comfortable chairs in living area. Only one couch and we were 4 people, two more soft chairs would have been perfect.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a family of 4 with 2 young children. The host greeted us upon arrival. The apartment was beautiful and clean. It was spotless and had a kitchen and daily room service. The location was perfect - less than 6-minute walk to the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. The apartment was secure. We were on the 2nd floor and there were two flights of stairs (no lift) but the host assisted us with our luggage. There was no parking provided but the host was able to guide us at the time of the booking that there is a secure parking garage only minutes away from the apartment, which we booked independently (for 40 Euros a day). We parked our car there for the entire stay and explored Florence by foot/public transport for the two days were there. There was no iron in the room but the host was able to provide one upon request. The host was available to answer any queries at all times and was very welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend this apartment. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful stay.

We loved our stay! The place was perfect for our family of four. The place was clean, beds were comfortable, and the AC worked amazingly (we were in Florence with temperatures in upper 90s in fahrenheit). The location was convenient to various sites, restaurants, etc. In addition, there were thoughtful welcome boxes, and we loved how the place was decorated. We would definitely stay here again!

There are 60 steps to get to the floor that these hotel rooms are on. Do not stay here if you have any limitations at all for physical activity. There is an additional flight of stairs to get to the bedroom and bathroom with two additional steps to the bathroom. It was hard to navigate at night. Ok if 20-45 yrs old and fit. No better options. Ruined my vacation!

I would never stay anywhere else in Florence. The property is impeccable. Everything from the linens, the welcome treats, and the space in general exceeded our expectations. We had a 4 night stay here. The location is so convenient. You are so close to all the attractions and also all the lovely shops. I will definitely return to Canto degli Scali on my next trip to Florence. Marco was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond when I made an error in my reservation date. The property is beautiful. I have stayed in two of the apartments and found them both to be extremely spacious and beautifully appointed. The bedding and linens were so comfortable. I wanted to sleep in each day :-) The location was just perfect, as it is only a block away from all of the shopping and very close to the city center. It was also an ideal location because it was not in the middle of the city, which ensured that it was quiet in the evenings. There is a lovely restaurant directly across from the property where we had many perfect dinners. I could not recommend the property enough!

Marco (the proprietor) Was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The apartment is located in a fantastic location, close walking distance to all the most popular museums, landmarks, and tons of shopping and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The two bedroom/2 bathroom apartment had a kitchen and living room area, no washer or dryer, but it was a great apartment. Very comfortable, clean, and conveniently located.

Great location in the middle of all that you need to do in Florence. Everything is walkable from here. Even the train station. Very clean and a nice full kitchen. Even provided a free shopping tote bag that we used on the rest of our trip through Italy.

Property was beautifully designed and decorated. Daily cleaning without asking the front desk. Property is walkable to all major city sights. Only downfall is there are a lot of stairs and no elevator. The staff assist with bringing luggage to and from room without even asking. Overall and excellent stay!!

Absolutely gorgeous, clean, and comfortable apartment on a quiet,14th century street just blocks from Ponte Vecchia, shopping, and everything you could want to see and experience in Florence. This place is incredible. It’s a walk up apartment, so you need to climb some steps—and it is absolutely worth it. Best place we have ever stayed. Love.

When we first arrived, my daughter said that the property was “mid”. It is a bit old but it adds to the charm of being in a city like Florence. Aside from that it was perfect for us. Beds were comfy, WiFi worked well, the building was secure, and the air conditioning blasted ice cold air, which was nice in the summer. Cleaning staff was in and out quickly and was on top of everything. The owner, Marco was on site everyday and really took care of us. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. “Very Nice” (Borat voice)

This a perfect little apartment in a central part of the city. It’s quiet, it’s comfortable, and the air conditioning is perfect! Although we didn’t use the little kitchen, it had everything one would need to make small meals. Marco was awesome! He made dinner reservations for us on our anniversary and made sure we enjoyed our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment was charming, convenient and Alessio was accommodating in every way. We loved the coffee, sparkling and still water provided and the A/C was fantastic in the heat of the summer. The location was great and everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. This was the best place we stayed our entire Italy trip. It was spacious, modern, and so comfortable. It was beautiful. The best location in all of Florence. You can walk to everything. Very conveniently located, tons of restaurants around. Staff is great. All the extra touches (robes, slippers, maps, restaurant recommendations, extra drinks in the fridge, little teddy bear soap for my toddler, etc.) are awesome. Breakfast included at near by restaurant is great too. Overall best hotel we've stayed at in Italy. There's a carousel 5 mins walk away that my toddler loves also.
