    Great location, staff, and room. Would definitely stay again. I've lived in Florence and know the area well. This location is away from the noise but perfectly located. There are stairs you have to go up to get to an elevator that alleviates just one floor / set of stairs more to the hotel, so it helps but may be difficult if you have handicaps. Elevator is super small but it's super easy to just take 2 trips if needed. Secure doors and very safe. The staff is the best... super helpful, attentive, and kind. ONLY downside I'd say is the smell that sometimes emanates from the bathroom. Not sure if they use P-Traps for their bathtubs but you can get a bad sent on occasion. That said, the bathroom as one door, and then there's another door in your room (quad room) to separate you from the front door and bathroom, so all smell is contained. That said, this would NOT keep me away from staying here again. This place is perfect. I didn't do the breakfast, but you do have the option of paying daily over in advance (which comes with a bit of discount).

    The location is fantastic, which is a stone's throw away from Ponte Vecchio. Value for money at its price point. However, the building is really too old for comfort. Oldest working elevator I've probably seen. And you have to carry your luggage up a full flight of stairs to get to it. The staff are nice and warm, adding a nice touch to the visit despite the hotel's downsides.
