A lovely stay at La Maison with the delightful Sophie!

Our host and owner of La Maison , Sophie provided a warm and friendly welcome to us upon our arrival. La Maison is a characterful and stylishly decorated house . Our room was very comfortable, characterful and clean. La Maison has a lovely garden/ terrace with chairs and tables should you choose to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Sophie was a delightful , warm ,friendly and funny lady . We looked forward to seeing Sophie at breakfast every morning as she played great music in the dining room, served us local tasty produce on her lovely crockery and chatted to us about our day ahead and the day before. Sophie provided lots of tips for visits to Chateaus ,parking and she also reccommended and booked local restaurants for us.

There was nothing to dislike about Sophie or La Maison!:-))

Sophia is a lovely sweet hostess. Breakfast was delicious with her home made Jams, Marmalades and select Cheeses The large room was very tastefully decorated. The house is close to the township and river. It was a delightful two days

We had an excellent stay in this charming old house in the middle of Loir valley, very good place to explore the castles and Zoo Beauval. Sophie is a very warm hostess, very helpful, providing excellent and honest recommendations. We admired the house and the atmosphere Sophie is creating there by small things, which makes us want to return.

An excellent hostesses in her delightful home.

The welcome by the owner, Sophie, was lovely. She is rightly very proud of her home. Our room was excellent. Enormous compared to most hotel rooms, overlooking the square.. The continental style breakfast was beautifully served and presented with many locally sourced items - honey, jams, cheese. Excellent coffee. She provided GF bread and almond milk as requested. Parking in the square was available for unloading luggage and if necessary overnight. There is also a large car park 2 minutes drive away. Beware the streets are quite narrow. Please take her advice on booking in advance as soon as you arrive for evening meals. It's a very popular area. Also use the number she gives in her message to contact her about your arrival time., ideally after 4pm. A lovely lady who will do her best to make your stay an enjoyable one.

Perfect in every way.

Valerie was an amazing host, always free and happy to help, making us feel like home and very welcome. The room was amazing, beautifully furnitured and VERY SPACIOUS. Meaning, we had our roon, our son had his own room, two bathrooms, living room... The breakfast: oh the breakfast... Again, home away from home. Whatever could be homemade, was homemade.

Une belle entrée en matière dans le zoo de Beauval

L'accueil par la propriétaire des lieux a été très chaleureux et très précis dans l'explication d'un succulent petit déjeuner avec des produits du terroir de grande qualité. La décoration générale de l'établissement est d'un confort suranné que nous avons apprécié avec une mention spéciale pour une magnifique lanterne chinoise fabriquée par la propriétaire. Un délicat préambule avant la visite du zoo de Beauval tout à côté avec ses fameux pandas.

Maison de caractère bien située, joli jardin et belle décoration. Situation centrée, restaurant tout proche. Nous avons été bien conseillé et des produits locaux sont proposés au petit-déjeuner. Le château vaut le détour, très jolie étape.

Belle surprise que la Maison Saint Aignan avec une hôtesse prolixe de bons conseils tant sur les visites aux alentours que sur les bonnes adresses de restaurants. Petits déjeuner copieux avec que des produits frais et locaux un vrai régal Et que dire de la maîtresse de maison, accueil chaleureux, aux petits soins pour ses hôtes.

Geweldig

De hartelijkheid, de zorg en de vrolijkheid van gastvrouw Sophie waren geweldig. De kamer is groot, het bed goed en ruim. Bovendien is er in het huis volop ruimte om te zitten, lezen en relaxen. Het ontbijt is erg goed met vnl. streekproducten. Saint Aignan is een gezellig dorp met alles op loopafstand. Bezoek aan Zoo de Beauval is een aanrader. Als we in de buurt zijn, zullen we er zeker teruggaan.

Eigenlijk niets. Klein minpuntje: Het was ruim 30 graden en dan is het wel erg warm in de kamer. Parkeren is goed mogelijk op korte loopafstand, maar voor de deur is officieel niet toegestaan voor meer dan 1,5 uur.

Agréable séjour au calme à quelques KM du zoo de Beauval

L'accueil de la propriétaire , sa faculté à nous guider sur les les lieux à visiter en ville , le calme absolu de la résidence ,la mise à disposition de livres de grande qualité , le petit déjeuner 100% bio et copieux servi dans un cadre agréable , le rapport qualité prix correct ; la proximité du zoo de Beauval

l'éclairage qui serait à revoir trop faible à nos gouts , l'escalier très abrupte difficile d'accès avec des valises en main .l'absence de TV (sans être non plus primordial ) le stationnement quasi impossible sur la place attenante en zone bleue qui tient du miracle pour obtenir une place

Quel accueil incroyable et quelle belle énergie positive nous a transmis Sophie dans sa splendide demeure ! Et la cerise sur le gâteau : c’est une cuisinière hors pair ! Nous avons été conquis pendant ces deux jours près du zoo de Beauval. Je recommande vivement
