Nice to look at.

Picturesque building. We got a place in the (apparently limited) parking.

No lift. No restaurant. The latter is offered by the hotel literally 50 yards away (which happens to be part of the same chain). But basically what is on offer is in Premier Inn/Travelodge territory. I happily stay in both when available but then they are not charging €250 per night plus breakfast at €16 a head. Value for money? - hmm!

The rooms in this hotel are really small. We paid extra to have a large room, which equates to a regular sized room anywhere else. Soundproofing between the rooms is awful. We could hear every word the people in the room next door said. Also the condition of the decor is really shabby, especially the bathrooms. I’d expect something smarter at these prices.

Zero value for money

This is a tourist hotel for those who do not have high expectations. Very impersonal, extremly small rooms, the double bed was not wide enough for two people, the pressure of water in the shover was poor and the breakfast was a tragedy. The staff does not care about you and apparently do not have a dress code. And on the top no airconditioning with 34 degrees outside. Just a waste of money. We paid € 240 for the room.

nice bedding, clean and quiet, some free drinks in the minifridge. very well place in town centre.

Very hot room as no air con, not enough plug sockets, room very small, had to move the ventilator each time we needed to reach the mini fridge. no milk next to the kettle. Each client told to book a table at a restaurant around the corner (in grand hotel as apparently impossible to find a restaurant after 7 we were told) which I think had poor price / quality.

Great place for family

The hotel was exactly what we expected, nice authentic place, with a little garden, parking, breakfast and daily housekeeping. Staff was nice and welcoming, provided a baby cot on request. Minibar was re-stocked with water and soft drink every day, plus tea, coffee. The town itself is very nice to walk around and enjoy the views. Our primary objective was to visit Zooparc Beauval, which is just 10 minutes away.

The bed was a bit tight for two of us (but we are not skinny :-)). But that is absolutely fine for 3 nights stay.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Pretentious and third rate

The staff were very nice, and the location of the hotel centrally in a ravishing medieval French town is outstanding.

The room was a tiny scruffy room behind the reception very poor value at 129Euros. It was cold, the bedding was inadequate and the radiator was not working. Single glazed windows, view of a construction site. Breakfast which was extra had all been eating when I arrived at 0900.

Great location close to restaurants in the old town. Staff were super friendly and helpful. On site parking for guests. Fantastic breakfast and free drinks in arrival. Kettle, fridge and microwave in room.

I don’t know if it was just the room we were in, but our room didn’t really live up to the standard or size portrayed on the website. Everything was clean but a bit shabby (loose tap, bathroom door handle coming away, very rough paintwork on windows, etc.). It wasn’t so bad that I’d be put off booking again but things weren’t as pristine as they looked online, which was disappointing.

The delightful Beauvilliers Hotel Review of Hotel Beauvilliers Reviewed today via mobile This historic, comfortable hotel was originally a hospital back in the day. It was very quiet at night, yet walking distance to several restaurants in Saint Aignan. We awoke to the aroma of fresh croissants in the morning & had a delightful breakfast (worth the cost). I highly recommend and will stay here again if we return to the area!
