The second bed was not very comfortable, it was difficult to get there with the car even to load and unload, the overall feeling in the room was quite cold / industrial, like a hallway rather than room, check in was very unfriendly

A big disappointment

10 min walk to the lake and quiet during the night.

Comoloft Evergreen appartement shall be avoided during summer. Pictures and reviews were promising, but the reality was something else. We booked it in mid-March, 955 euros for 3 nights in August for 2 adults and 3 children. -Upon arrival, after 9 hours drive by car, having been requested in advance by the host our arrival time, we arrived ponctually at 17h00. Temperature outside was 34°C, temperature in the appartment was 35.5 °C !!! Three hours later, having had the airco working non stop, temperature was still 30 °C. The airco does not simply have the capacity to cool the space of this room with two walls full of windows which turn the space into a greenhouse. During our stay of 3 nights we were obliged to have the air-conditioning on all the time, and at peak heat hours during the day, made also use of 2 fans brought by the owner. -The set up of the loft allows no privacy with 3 beds in a mezzanine overlooking to the living-room where there is a sofá that turns into a double bed. - Upon arrival we had to report that the showerhose was broken -this was replaced the day after. - Only one bathroom for 5 was not ideal either. - There is no lift, which is not practical as the luggage must be taken going up the stairs. - I assume it is only due to the high temperature but the smell in the staircase was disgusting, smelling constantly of garbage. -The room has a big terrasse but it gives to an internal courtyard with vis-a-vis to all neighbours (see picture). Definitively this was not good value for money.

The Comoloft is very central, Clean and spacious.

The Comoloft was very central. The apartment was clean and spacious, ideal when traveling with family. Mrs. Ute was also a great help. I highly recommend the Comoloft.

Opening the main door at night was a bit complicated. Perhaps a code system to open the door would be easier.

Great location, fully equipped apartment disappointed no bedroom pull out beds in lounge

The welcome at reception and the tips for restaurants and the tip on getting to the harbour early 7.a.m to purchase the tickets at 7am for lake como ferry at 9.15 am were excelleny

We booked this accommodation based on the advert saying it being a one bedroom with a sofa bed as our 17 year old daughter was travelling with us and we all need privacy. The accommodation is one large room no bedroom. The sofa folds out into a bed and the bed folds down from the wall. we were looking at each other in bed no privacy. Tiles in the bathroom needed cleaning in places, and some damp patches next to the shelf had been painted over white and were flaky.

The room is big and clean, but we didn’t slept well.

The fact that was so close to the turist area.

The beds were old and not comfortable, the mattress of the bed was making a disturbing noise, my husband slept on the sofa, me and our baby girl on the big bed ( which was a folding bed) , for this price I expected a more comfortable and big bed.

Great hidden central gem..

Brilliant little place with a little sun trap yard, sectioned off between neighbouring apartments. Comfy pull down sleeper/couch ( we left it down as a bed), washing machine, little kitchen and a great shower room. It’s set back a bit from the mainstream accommodations with a short walk into the action of the squares etc. it’s also hidden inside another outer walled building (as per the architecture in como) that surrounds a courtyard. Couldn’t be happier.

Nothing really..not a thing but you may have someone’s outdoor space overlooking your courtyard, so just adjust the blinds if your a naked! lol

Fantastic accommodation in the historic center

The accommodation is situated in the historic center of Como, 5 minutes of walking from the lake shore. The host was very hospitable and communicative and provided extremely useful information - thank you Mrs. Ute! The 7-person loft is very spacious and it is fully equipped (washing machine, iron, fully equipped kitchen etc). The beds were comfortable enough and cleaning was proper. Check-in and check-out were extremely easy thanks to extremely good communication. For parking, Mrs. Ute redirected us to two great parking lots, so no worries about that and also offered to white-list our cars in order to have an easier unload of baggages. To summarize, it is a fantastic accommodation with a great price-value.

The only downside is that the 7-person loft has a single bathroom, but it's manageable.

Brilliant space to enjoy como and good value for money

The space in the apartment is excellent and the air con is a very valuable thing to have. location is fantastic, close enough to shops and restaurants to feel central in como but lovely and quite when your finished with your day.

the TV had a mind of its own and would turn on randomly during the night which was quite unsettling the first time it happen, we are assuming it’s a setting on the TV.

Large, modern, well laid out and super location.

Small point in October but more material in summer - it was a bit warm and the aircon was turned off. This might be the same in all of Italy though due to energy crisis.

Excellent, secure, centrally located, surrounded by million dollar condos in stunning city!

Secure, double gated plus safe-like door. Very quiet, you can tour city all day and come to rest in a beautiful modern loft with all the comforts of metropolitan life. Good AC, washer, kitchen and comfortable beds. Mr. Alessandro, Ms. Ute and their staff are dedicated to this beautiful property. They convey all the great qualities of Italian hospitality. We were super happy to stay, will highly recommend and will be back!

The location is perfect, but the only bad thing about this place is that we had to deal with bedbugs

Everything was clean and it was very quiet at night. The location is amazing, the ferry station is very close to this place and there where a lot of small shops and places to eat (4-5 min walk).

Me and my friends got bitten by bedbugs. We also had to throw all of our clothes in the washer to prevent new infestation. Also the bathroom door was broken so we couldn't close the door properly. The bathroom was full of ants.

A great apartment in a great location

Great location, close to shops and lake. Spar shop next door was handy. Bed and sofa bed were comfy but watch your head in the mezzanine bedroom as the ceiling is low by the end of the bed and at the top of the stairs. We tried to use the electric hob but couldn’t work it out and there were no instructions. The host met us to hand over the key and couldn’t have been more helpful. The studio was great for the three of us and we enjoyed being able to sit outside on the rooftop terrace. We would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Excellent quality

It was great and clean, very tidy and the owner was a really kind and friendly person, she helped us to find the places of interest in the area more easily. I will definitely go back there again.
