It's not perfect but it will do very well for less demanding travelers.

One person room was very clean and big enough to have a comfortable stay. I was there in the winter so the heating was also perfect. No issues whatsoever.

The lack of a small fridge in the room. I bought myself a piece of a local cheese and I was forced to keep it on a windowsill... In addition, the bathroom seems a bit out of date, although I am not especially picky – it was sufficient.

Not comfy, very old but good location

The location is great and if you get the balcony rooms, views are beautiful

Rooms are really old and you can smell the humidity. Breakfast was horrible, not many salty options and everything very low quality. I booked a room with in theory balcony and mountain views and when I arrived they put me in one of the most old and interior rooms, it was really smelly and bed uncomfortable. After complaining, the boss lady gave me a room with balcony to mountain views and it felt a bit better, I definitely had a better sleep than the other night. Thank you.

It was a comfortable stay

Was very clean and neat lovely views from the balcony. Room service cleaning every day and was very efficient. Location was good but if using public transport it’s one hour away from cortina but still very good.

The walls are a little thin but neighbouring guests don’t make a lot of noise so it was fine.

Okay stopover for bikepackers

Great breakfast and location. We were able to arrive well after our check in time (we got stuck and delayed by an afternoon storm). The staff was friendly and accommodated our late arrival and allowed us to store our bikes in a secure room.

One thing that was lacking was the WiFi connectivity inside the hotel. It only seemed to work in the common area on the second floor. The beds were also not very comfortable which made recovering from a long day on a bike tough.

It is perhaps a bit overpriced considering it is an old-fashioned hotel in Cadore, not super close to ski slopes. But perhaps this is already the effect of Milano-Cortina 2026.

A lovely hotel in the beautiful Dolomites

I stayed here for 5 nights. I did day-hikes to different locations in the dolomites. I tried to search for a hotel in Cortina d’Ampezzo but they were twice as expensive as this one. The room wasn’t hot but nice and cool even when it was hot outside. You can also open the windows and make a nice breeze to the room. I liked the breakfast and the staff. A big and clean bathroom.

I wish there were tomatoes or lettuce or other vegetables in the breakfast table, even though i know Italians don’t eat them for breakfast. 😄 It was a bit far from my hiking destinations (1 hour drive one-way every day).

A good location for a quick overnight.

A good location with parking near to the central area of town. The staff was welcoming and the towels and breakfast were good.

The room was quite small for a single and only had the bare essentials like soap. I would have liked to have had a hairdryer and a mini fridge. I found it a bit expensive for a dormitory style room, but it was adequate for an overnight stay.

Good potential but sadly lacking some love

The location was good for our itinerary. The mountain view in the morning was fabulous. The hotel is quiet.

The hotel is dated and not well maintained. This hotel would benefit from an update but I can understand that this is challenging given the location and the Covid situation. But this hotel would benefit even more from some love. The posters in our room were from last century. The dried plants in the hallway were from an extinct species. The plants on the balconies were badly maintained or dried out. A lick of paint here and there would also help. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choice, the love being visible here!

A pleasant and convenient place to stay.

The staff was friendly. Breakfast had all the typical items. The hotel was a short walk from the historic center. Although I did not have a balcony, I had a nice view from the window. Parking was available in front of the hotel. Great hiking trails were nearby.

The bedspread was stained and the bath towel was frayed. However, the room was clean and the hotel was decorated nicely.

Ottima sosta per un breve giro sulle Dolomiti del Cadore

Posizione comoda, dotato di parcheggio, a due passi dal centro del paese, dove ci sono diversi ristoranti. Le signore sono state molto gentili e disponibili. Le stanze erano grandi e ben riscaldate, un po' essenziali, e quella al 2° piano offriva una vista splendida sulle montagne circostanti. Quella al primo piano non era molto ben insonorizzata rispetto alla camera accanto, con i bagni che confinavano: si sentiva chiaramente parlare e i pianti dei bambini. I letti erano comodi e la pulizia complessiva ottima! Il costo complessivo non è stato economico, ma nel confronto con i prezzi della zona molto alti è stato conveniente e adeguato al servizio offerto. La colazione è stata molto ricca e in un ambiente confortevole. Complessivamente il nostro giudizio è più che positivo e ci tornerei sicuramente.
