This hotel perfectly combines genuine hospitality, delicious food, and modern comfort.

Our stay at this family-owned hotel in the Dolomites was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, Darius went above and beyond to make us feel at home — assisting with any request and sharing invaluable local tips for the best hiking experiences in the area. The breakfast was excellent, and the half-board option was a real highlight. Each evening, we enjoyed authentic Italian dishes lovingly prepared — the lasagna on our last night was simply the best we’ve ever had. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and equipped with super-fast internet, which made it easy for us to work remotely during our stay. This hotel perfectly combines genuine hospitality, delicious food, and modern comfort. A heartfelt thank you to Darius for making our stay so memorable — we can’t wait to return!

It was like in a picture post card setting with a wonderful host.

This hotel was in a beautiful setting with mountains in the background. It was a very peaceful area. It was close to other villages with shops and a grocery store near by. Dario was a wonderful host, he made us feel like family. He went above and beyond to describe the area and tell us what there was to see. Breakfast was included. We enjoyed the dinners that he served in the restaurant, home cooked by his mother. We also met his father and had some wonderful conversations. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms looked to be newly renovated. We enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to stay an extra day. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful stay

Beautifully located in a quiet mountain village. The rooms were a good size and very clean! We only met one member of staff as we didn’t spend too much time at the hotel, but they were very friendly!

Everything was good we would just like to mention perhaps having a kettle facility with cups in the room would be good as this is included.

Good location to stay for east Dolomites if you don't mind driving a bit.

Dario is great - attentive, responsive and always there for help and suggestion. Half board available for dinner which was very delicious. Vigo di Cadore is also a quiet nice little place to explore.

Only accessible by car as there's no public transport. It's one hour drive to Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Some warm food for breakfast would be better.

A family run business that provides exceptional service for its guests

Marco and his staff was exceptional. We were riding motorcycles and Marco greeted us with an offer of a beer. He helped me take my things to the room. Dinner in house was prepared by the mother. Marco was extremely friendly and helpful. The is a nice covered outdoor area right on the street.

Oh, it's such a perfect place...

Everything. The location is great - small town with a really cosy atmosphere - to us it was really great place to relax after hiking. Dario and his whole family were really polite and helpful and his Mom's supper were very-very tasty (we planned to eat the supper only on the first day... but we quickly decide to eat it everyday). We had a great view from the terrace - in addition whole room was big and clean.

That we spent here only 4 nights - it was really difficult to say goodbye...

We were in room 106, which is right above the bar, so it was noisy a bit from the early morning. Also, when others were using their bathroom? there were some sounds maybe from the ventilator. The bathroom of our room hasn't been renovated yet and it was quite uncomfortable to have a shower due to the lacking of space. In addition, the wall of the shower cabin are not covering it completely so it's easy to make the surrounding of the cabin fully wet. We believe that changing the towels each day or dropping the used soaps and plastic glasses (without being asked to do so) is unnecessary in 2022 considering the environmental impact. On the other hand, not replacing the table towels and the table cover in the dining area throughout the whole stay (3 nights) even when there were some visible dirty spots on them is a practice that could be revisited. There should be a small refrigerator and a kettle available in the room (we knew they're not provided).

Dario welcomed us at our car. We were offered lunch which was excellent and homemade by his mother. His English was extremely helpful since you are located in a picturesque small town in the Dolomites. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Treasure of Italian Alps

Classical style hotel with a personal touch. Even our first call to the hotel, saying we are on our way after a long hike (almost at 10pm) was very pleasant and hopeful - owner Dario calmly told us to have no worries about check in - he’s waiting. Good location, a free parking nearby, restaurant, exceptionally clean room and friendly, attentive staff with a daily smile! Got a lot of tips where to hike and explore Italian Alps at their best! Would definitely come back!

Great hospitality!

What makes Da Marco stand out is the great hospitality combined with a freshly renovated premises which is clean to the dots. The whole family and staff do their utmost to make you feel comfortable. The dinner cooked by mama was very well-cooked traditional Italian food. There is a very nice selection of wines too. The breakfast was sumptious and delicious.

We liked the service, the courtesy and hospitality. The hotel is also in a really good position to enjoy the Tree Cime and near by spots. Nice balcony and beautiful view.
