The room itself was perfect and the housekeeping personnel were very helpful.

However, the room does not have air conditioning, which made it quite warm. The biggest issue was the balcony lights; they are incredibly strong, which blocked our view of the evening scenery and made it very difficult to sleep. When we asked reception to turn them off, they were unhelpful and did not assist us. Additionally, we found the food to be really expensive for the quality provided.

Chalet Cridola was an excellent base for exploring the Dolomites. The hotel is located in a charming historic town with a rich alpine atmosphere and plenty of character. The property itself is modern, offering comfortable rooms, convenient private parking, a tasty breakfast, and a genuinely dog-friendly attitude that made us feel very welcome. The hotel also has its own restaurant, although it is worth reserving a table in advance. For those arriving late, there is a very good pizzeria within walking distance. Its location is another major advantage, with many of the most spectacular Dolomite destinations, including the Cortina d'Ampezzo area, reachable within about an hour's drive. We would happily stay here again.
