Located in the center of Spezia, 3 minutes from the central station and another 3 minutes along the sea, where are the boats for the 5 Terre, area served by supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, bars, bakery.

We stayed here for 3 nights and overall we really enjoyed our stay in La Spezia.The property is in a very nice quiet area, near lots of good restaurants and shops. It is also located an easy walk away from the train. This makes it very easy to access Cinque Terre.About the property itself:It has everything you need;The air conditioning worked well.The bed in the master had a somewhat firm mattress that I found very comfortable.Parts of the apartment appear to have been updated, but there are parts that need some attention. Small things like changing cabinet door hinges so the cupboards close would make a big difference in appearance.The kitchen is very small and oddly shaped which makes it awkward to work in if you plan to cook much.The bathroom has a bidet but it is so close to the toilet that if yo are a large or tall person or have mobility issues it would be difficult to use the toilet. I’m 178 cm or 5’ 10” and i had trouble with knee room.The only real issue we had was the property listing stated (and still states) that there is a washing machine. At the two week point of our vacation we were counting on this being true, but there was no washer in the property. When we asked the property manager about it we got no response. Ultimately we found a laundry a short walk away and there is a clothes line from the front door balcony.

Excellent location, close to shops. Easy walk to train station to go to Cinque Terre. Great farmers out door market a couple of blocks away. Outdoor balcony is a nice plus.

Host was very responsive. We were able to drop our bags before check in so we could explore the city. There were only about 10 steps to top of apartment which was neat and clean. The air conditioning worked very well too. Easy 8 minute walk to train.
