Ideal little accommodation for a stay in the welsh countryside. Recommended

The location was perfect for us as well as the type of property. Had most Things we needed for a two night stay and to cook. The host was wonderful. I definitely would stay again. I do although regret not having breakfast in the cafe as it looked delicious.

Everything was lovely! , if I was being picky I would say a chopping board is needed and the sofa needs replacing for a more comfortable experience after a day of walking in the countryside. Also the front door needs a curtain to keep the draft out.

Brilliant little place in a fab location

Brilliant place to stay and the location is fantastic. Cathryn messaged me with all the necessary details well before we were due to arrive so we could get in immediately when we arrived. It was very clean and had all the necessities. We were very pleased and most definitely would stay here again. Everything we came to do was within easy reach and even Tesco's was only a 10 min drive away. Our dog was allowed too which was wonderful. Overall we had a fabulous stay and have fallen in love with Wales, thank you Cathryn.

Can't think of a single thing that we did not like. Maybe just that a little table and chairs out the front would be nice for a morning coffee in the fresh air but that's more of a personal choice as opposed to there being anything wrong.

Unbelievably clean, great location, great host, extremely helpful and caring.

The location was amazing, right next to the National park and the Showcaves, a few small villages nearby as well. The highlight of the place is the cleanliness, you can tell Cathryn really puts alot of effort into making the place is spotless for each guest. As old as the building is, and the mattress being extremely soft, the fact that the whole place is so clean, really does put you at ease. The host was also amazing, you can tell that Cathryn really brings the whole community together, and everyone knows her. Also fixed me up some breakfast and delivered to our door!

Extremely soft mattress was slightly annoying, especially on a double bed with two adults sleeping. You end up rolling into each other as the mattress dips. Aside from this everything was perfect.

Perfect cosy base for exploring Brecon Beacons

We had all the facilities we needed to cook our own meals and chill out after a busy day walking or cycling but with the added benefit of being able to pop next door to get a full cooked breakfast in the morning. A lovely selection of pubs and sights very close by but also not too far to travel to get to Black Mountains, Brecon or Swansea. Lovely friendly hosts who left us to it but were next door in Post Office/cafe/shop if we needed them. A fab little place to get away and dog friendly too.

Coat hooks would have been handy for soggy coats ☺️

Great self-catering property

Nice, cute little set up with all of the essentials you need! The hosts live on the other side of the Post office, so we'd see them as we were leaving for the day. Super friendly. Needed a fan for the evening just for some air flow, and they brought it straight to us - really appreciated. Really enjoyed our stay here.
