A perfect stay

Just returned from a break over Christmas in Cockledora. What a beautiful place it is. We were blessed with 4 days of sunny weather and enjoyed walks along the coast path right on tje doorstep, not to mention the picturesque sunsets from the comfort of the sofa. We cooked Christmas Dinner in the flat and I have to commend the cooking facilities and equipment. There was everything we needed and more!! The ground floor location was ideal for Mum who's 86. In fact everything was perfect, the apartment was warm and cosy - we had a wonderful stay. Special thanks for the wine, milk and Christmas goodies and we loved the Christmas tree, festive towels and bedding. Thank you Joanna for being a fantastic host. We will be back 😀

We loved the apartment and the view was amazing 😍 I was very pleased that it was a ground floor apartment as I'm disabled. The shower was amazing and the beds were super comfortable. The kids wanted to live there! We all wanted to stay another night but the kids had school the next day.. Thank you for our awesome night away. Our daughter loved her 15th birthday surprise.

The only thing we didn't like, is that we couldn't stay longer.

Perfect base for a trip away

The property is beautifully presented with more than you can imagine you might need. It’s comfortable, cosy, and in a lovely spot. Joanna is an excellent host, helpful directions, always responsive, going the extra mile.

Perfect place for a family to stay right by the water

Wonderful apartment right on the water. Perfectly appointed with everything one needs and comfortable beds. Dedicated parking spot right out front was a big benefit.

A beautiful stay

The decor was lovely the thoughtfulness of leaving beers and milk made for a fab weekend. It had everything you need lovely beds , great shower with Shampoo , shower Gel and conditioner.Quality Towels The kitchen also had everything you need and a lot more 😍.

The location was perfect right on the beachfront. The flat was immaculately set out and was equipped with anything you might need. Super comfy beds and attention to detail with discount vouchers for local places and a lovey care package on arrival.

Great location, lovely sea view from the lounge (bedroom view is of the car park!). Well equipped kitchen, facilities all good. Generous provision of kitchen & bathroom essentials.

The 2nd bedroom was a bit on the small side, not obvious from the photos. Otherwise, all good.

Very peaceful and comfortable stay with helpful host. Prefect weekend get away.

The directions sent to us were detailed and made our arrival very easy. The flat is comfortable with lovely special touches such as prosecco and milk in the fridge and a selection of snacks in the kitchen. The area is so peaceful with a brasserie that offers delicious breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners 7 days, just a 5 minute walk away. The kitchen in the flat had everything you need for a short stay and we loved the rainfall shower. The flat is actually on an inlet so there isn't any water immediately available but plenty of sand and mud flats to explore. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic location, well proportioned rooms and lovely kitchen-dining-lounge area. A well maintained apartment with all the necessary kitchen appliances, equipment etc. and an excellent, invigorating shower My only gripe is that my bed was too soft, so woke up early with a sore back.

First of all the lovely smell when you open the door, the beautiful decoration and quality furnishings. A lovely welcome basket with milk and a drink in the fridge. Great communication from the owner. Very clean, everything you would need. Great views of the sea.

A bit hard to find, sat nav doesn’t take you to outside but it was dark, once I read all the instructions again I found it fine.

The apartment was absolutely lovely, with everything we needed. The beds were so comfortable ! Joanna even left a few food and drink goodies for us which was a nice touch.

Unfortunately the apartments were being power washed . So the noise from the generator and the work men from early morning to late afternoon on the second day meant we couldn’t relax. As it’s a ground floor flat the work men were around the French doors all day and the scaffolding hindered our view slightly. I was with my elderly father, hoping for a quiet break as we‘d lost my mum a couple of months ago, so unfortunately we decided to leave a day early, because of the noise.

The facilities- everything was thought about, not a single thing missing. Gorgeous decor and so warm and cosy. Beautiful position on sea front. Clean and fresh. Beds were so soft and comfy. Welcome treats as in snacks, milk and bottle of drink. A delightful stay. Thank u v much.
