Very clean comfortable beds nice views

Tv not working on arrival but sorted eventually. After ringing the owners .path up to entrance steep an needs fixing as loose an cracks a hazard. front room could do with tv in it drafts an cold from windows front bedroom very noisey with passing traffic as on a main busy road stay better places at a cheaper price

It was ok, there were no tea towels, and the Bath plug got stuck! It needs sorting.

I wasn’t given the correct key lock code and had to contact the owner by phone on arrival at the cottage! I’m only glad she answered otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to enter the property!!

Warm, cosy, beautiful sea views, spacious, quiet.

Powerful hot shower

No welcome pack - no milk, biscuits etc. No literature about the house apart from how to recycle, but there were no bins in house for any recycling! Minimal equipment in kitchem - no baking tray and only 4 cups or mugs!! Cleaning could be more thorough - mop left in bathroom, oven needs a clean, food left in dishwasher, bath slow to drain and freezer full of ice so drawer won't move. Mould on front bedroom wall.

It was a good spot for a holiday with the dog with lots of good walks in the area and places to eat.

The cottage was a good size with a lovely view and dog safe garden. There were good facilities nearby.

The cottage was a bit tired in places. There was a split seam in the duvet cover and a lot of brambles in the garden. There was insufficient crockery to justify a dishwasher. The front path to the property was cracked and uneven in places. I could not find any instructions re dealing with rubbish/recycling.

Could be amazing

Blue Rose Cottage is located in a very useful location. Close enough to a big shopping area but overlooking the sea it felt far away from there. Quite cosy and most facilities available. Some basics were available in the pantry.

On road parking outside was convenient but very busy traffic-wise and hard to cross the road if going in the opposite direction. Netflix and smart services were unavailable, even though it was offered. The router was too far from the television to connect. The cottage was a bit sad, it had loads of potential, but the front curtains were missing hooks and there was ketchup on the kitchen door. Neither clocks worked, one stopped and the other without hands! I cleaned the ceramic cooker top and surrounds, but left the bathroom door, strained grouting and shower screen . It wasn't dirty just needed a good clean especially as a cleaning charge was added.

A lovely base for our day trips

The accommodation was perfect for ourselves, friends and our 2 days. nice size bedrooms, a big open plan kitchen/ diner/ lounge with comfortable sofa. great fasciitis such as dishwasher and washing machine along with most things you would need for our holiday. a view of the estuary and a nice size garden. easy to park outside.

There were a few things that we would have liked in the accommodation that would of made it perfect. Blinds on the bathroom window and on the bedroom doors. if the light is on in the bedroom or bathroom, you can see in, which isn’t ideal if staying with friends. a handrail for the path up to the bungalow as the path is a bit uneven. it looks like lots of things are new but somethings haven’t been finished properly which is a shame eg. wobbly windowsill in front lounge, blue protective cover not completely removed on plastic pipe covering in kitchen, end of windowsills in the lounge not covered in upvc. Mould on tiles around the bath.

Excellent location with beautiful views and costal walks nearby. Spacious cottage which was extremely clean throughout. Bed was very comfortable! Nice additional touch having access to Netflix’s. Well maintained garden.

Exceptional

The location is lovely close to many beautiful places. The bungalow is spacious and exceptionally clean. It's very modern with all mod cons. Lovely walks nearby. Lots of shops and eateries within a few minutes drive. Lots of choices on just eat for deliveries locally.

The closest beach access has large rocks and is over a train line. Although a stunning beach is only 20 minutes walk away. The WiFi hub being on the floor in the hallway is not ideal
