Lovely getaway peaceful location

Great location, beautiful views. Well appointed kitchen. Very clean and tidy, lovely decor throughout. Good communication with hosts. Would highly recommend.

The water temperature wasn't great, ran a bath ( bath was beautiful) however as I was about to get in the water was very cool.. couldn't have the bath which was disappointing and a waste of water. Shower was boiling though which was strange as it seemed to run off the same system

Location.

Property was obviously suffering from damp. Windows were dirty. Discarded cigarette ends in the back yard. Cleanliness was poor with many cobwebs evident. Knives in the knife block were unusable / rusty / dirty. Some of the cutlery was dirty. Hopefully this will be seen as constructive criticism and not an attempt to be unduly negative

The outside of the property could do with a fresh coat of paint for first impressions on arrival.

Lovely house with good facilities and stunning beaches within half and hour's drive.

Lovely and clean and cosy and a nice welcoming bottle of wine was there for us. We did enjoy our stay and liked the pet friendly policy.

It was a little noisy being on the main road. The saucepans were teflon coated and quite scratched so I didn't want to use them. Apart from that it was great.

- the teflon pots started to loose their coatings and that is toxic stuff - would be nice to have a smart telly so guests can log into their netflix etc. Account and stream movies

Short but sweet break.

The view from the back bedroom and the garden were brilliant. We planned to sit out in the evening unfortunately the rain came in and spoilt our plans. Everything you could possibly want was available. Excellent.

Road noise at the front of house was continuous. Disturbing our sleep.

Cosy. Great back area overlooking the marshes.

It was quite sandy in the living room! But not a biggie. I like sand. Just wasn't expecting it. Traffic noise might not be everybody's cup of tea but windows cut out a lot of noise. Not a big problem either. The back is very peaceful.

Lovely location, but NOT a secure garden for our greyhound

The location was really good, it was a good base for the dog friendly beaches. There was everything you needed in walking distance.

It was booked as a secure enclosed garden for dogs. Unfortunately it wasn't as our greyhound had jumped the wall within an hour of arriving. Which meant one of us had to be outside with the dogs or keep the door closed.

Great location for shops & restaurants we had take away food from chip shop which was really nice also had take away from Indian which was OK nothing to write home about. Weather wasn't the best but if better a lovely patio area looking onto estuary.

All the information regarding arrival was very clear and we had no trouble. Very convenient free parking next to the house. Great location by the estuary. We enjoyed sitting in the back garden overlooking the water and the wild life. The cottage was fully fitted, comfortable living room and lovely kitchen. Really nice bathroom and good beds for 5 adults. Fantastic.

The interior decorator

Modern and well looked after. Every square inch of this place is decorated with a candle, cushion, or poetic calligraphy. Very easy transaction and a nice find. Great for a romantic visit for a couple, but they were very nice about providing baby gear for us. Family of 6 works too!

When it’s this nice, I start to watch my young kids with paranoia. Not a place I would let a 3 yr old mess about in. I can’t imagine what damage somebody’s Labrador could do, but then again apparently they’re allowed…

Superb

The location - literally at the waters' edge - was perfect, with picture-perfect views from the back garden. The property was surprisingly roomy and extremely well-appointed, comfortable, and well-equipped.

The road outside is a bit busy. It wasn't a significant drawback though.

The house is located just off the main road with lovely views over the river/estuary. No much noise from the road as the house is well insulated. The big bathroom with shower and bath is a plus. Complete kitchen with everything we could think of. We appreciated their complementary spices among some other treat. Well-fitted lounge with dining table. Nice garden with table and chairs. The area is beautiful and there are a few takeaway and pub options.

Could easily live there full time it was so nice!

Beautiful decoration, cosy living room, comfortable bedrooms, modern but pretty kitchen. Ultra modern bathroom with bath and separate shower. Everything you could possibly need in kitchen .Extras like books to read, dog items, games etc for children. Would be great for a family with a double bed room and a large bedroom with a double bed and 2 single beds. Beautiful scenery . Easy parking on very nearby carpark.

You could hear the traffic in the front bedroom ( obviously not much you can do about it!) so if you are a light sleeper choose the back bedroom which was so quiet and had the most beautiful view!
