Spacious apartment and great location

It is above a pub and you can hear the noise in some rooms, that didn't bother us at all but worth noting.

Lovely apartment, great location.

Perfect location for all the bars and restaurants. The pub itself underneath was warm and welcoming and good Sunday dinner. Entertainment too. Nice apartment with balcony. Two of the beds were queen size and one king size. The apartment is a little bit aged and needs some very basic maintenance but that did not stop us from enjoying our stay. Will definitely come again.

Pleasant 6 night stay in quirky flat, good location, friendly owners & pub

The flat is a good size, cute quirky decor, good location, fun busy pub, friendly owners, beautiful view from the windows. Enjoyed playing a few records on the player during our stay.

The flat was not ready on arrival, though the owners quickly sorted this out for us. A few things require attention/improvement (kitchen, cleaning, comfort, WiFi) which we have flagged to the owners. Parking is an issue generally in Mumbles, if you have a small car you might be lucky in the street, we paid £45 to park in Caswell Avenue via the Just Parking app.

Nice location for a short stay but property is in dire need of some t.l.c.

Quirkyness was appealing . Location was convenient for shops and facilities. The bottle of proseco left for us was a nice touch.

The top bedroom small windows are jammed and can't be shut. The large window in the bedroom with large TV was open (presumably to air the room) but wouldn't easily shut, I had to stand on the widowsill in order to lift the window sufficiently to push it back into the frame to close it. There was no power to the sockets when we arrived (lights were powered ok), I phoned and texted the owner but no initial reply. The power eventually came on after about an hour or so but still no reply from owner, the owner texted back about 3hrs after my initial text but no explanation about the power issue.

Location and size of apartment

It is very noisy from the pub downstairs. We were there on a saturday night, and it didnt bother us as we were out. But if you want a quiet Saturday evening this isn’t the place for you.

Fantastic and will stay again.

Fantastic location. Fantastic value for money. All facilities are fantastic and we loved the terrace. The hosts were pleasant and friendly, and we loved the quirky vibe and furniture. Some pub noise from pub below and that didn't spoil our stay at all and was very tolerable, will definitely stay again.

Fabulous spacious property, close to all amenities.

Great location. Lovely view of the sea from the balcony. The apartment was so much more spacious than it looked in the photos. It’s above the most friendly pub. The noise was not intrusive at all. We also loved the retro style kitchen. The general quirky style throughout was a breath of fresh air & some lovely personal touches.

It had towels, shower gel tea, coffee and sugar and Netflix. More then what I expected.

A bit noisy till 11pm but then it is above an ale house...so expect it.

We loved it. Tracy the landlady and owner went out of her way to make us welcome, great local community pub below.

It was large, big living area plusoutside seating for a morning coffee/evening glass of wine. It is above and part of the best pub in The Mumbles with the best landlord and lady to go with it!

Apt got what you needed, like tea, coffee, washing up liquid, towels, toilet rolls, shampoo, beds were extremely comfortable, it's was very clean, location good, we had a lovely stay .

Well, only just one thing really, was sofa wasn't comfy to watch a movie, but that was it, so overall good.

Exceptional

Perfect spacious flat in an ideal location, overlooking the sea. Has a terrace area and upstairs bedroom, making it feel roomy and comfortable. Immaculate in terms of cleanliness and minutes from great amenities. Owners are lovely who run the fab pub downstairs. The pub is lively each night until 11.30pm, and very friendly with quiznight on Wednesdays which you will need to reserve a table for if you are planning to attend. The location is also prime for exploring the gower peninsular by car, or the shopping centre which is a 10 minute drive.

Nothing not to like. But to note that you cannot hear the noise of the pub from the top bedroom in comparison to the rest of the flat.

We stayed for 1 night for a well deserved break and it did the job

No food as advertised. The apartment was as quirky as I expected it to be and well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and linen's were very clean and we appreciated the Welsh cakes and tea and coffee on arrival. We had, prior to arrival. visited the pub below and knew the area and luckily managed to park outside the apartment on arrival. The pub itself was lovely and very busy (thank you for the 10% discount) we had expected the noise and it didn't bother us too much. All in all it was what we expected, very close to town front and sea, ideal for young people and those who want to party the night away.

Parking in this residential area is a nightmare, we were very lucky to arrive early and park outside the door, just. The entrance is shabby and the stairs very steep to the front door. The carpets are very industrial and needed cleaning in places, certainly needed slippers to walk around in. The paintwork was not very professional and many of the walls and ceilings needed new plasterwork, the plaster was badly breaking down in some areas and was off putting.

Will definitely stay here again - roomy, great views and perfect location

It was exactly as advertised- quirky and spacious. The beds were comfortable with crisp white bed linen and there is a balcony with great views and a lovely sunny place for breakfast. It is central for all Mumbles has to offer. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Everything was great. Parking wasn’t provided , but we were given advice for the nearest and cheapest options.

Charming and quirky place.

It is cRetro style and the funky furniture. Felt like we had jumped back in time - very charming. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The Welsh cakes were a nice touch. Nice hosts. 10% of drinks from the pub downstairs.

The sofa was rock hard. There being no guaranteed on street car park. There was torrential rain when we first arrived therefore walking back from the car park on the sea front wasn’t enjoyable. As we were travelling the South and North coast of Wales that week, we had big suitcases and google maps directed up past The White Rose which took so much longer IGNORE GOOGLE MAPS if they do this, go past Davies of Mumbles bakery which was less than 10min walk to the Mumbles Ale House. I like convenience therefore we won’t be returning due to the car parking situation. If there was guaranteed car park spaces at the hotel, then yes would return.

Brilliant! Was looking to book again whilst still there!

Hosts were fantastic. Pub downstairs was a gem and really accommodating of the children

The noise downstairs was loud in the evenings, so we broke our usual routine and let the children stay up late to avoid trying to get them down to sleep at it’s loudest. But wasn’t an issue for us at all
