Relaxing setting

We have had a fabulous week at 17 Whiteshell Chalet.It is in a fabulous lush green setting and so peaceful.It was clean and comfortable.We spent most of the time relaxing and eating outside. A few minutes walk away is a beautiful sandy bay.We loved the coastal path walks. Jo responded in minutes when I couldn't work the shower (A senior moment!!) We had great weather which added to the experience. Don't forget your swimmers the sea was so tempting! Great value Chalet,thank you Jo.

Very quiet and relaxing.

Nice chalet and good location. Welsh cakes were a nice touch.

There were no instructions on how to use the oven, but it wasn't difficult to work out.

Lovely place, clean and quiet

Lovely clean, well maintained chalet, perfectly located, a few minutes from the beach plus some lovely walks. Local facilities within an easy car journey.

After an uncomfortable night we discovered the bed was broken,on contacting the owner he immediately came to see how he could remedy it,but we felt that he blamed us for breaking it,and asked us why we hadnt told him as soon as it happened, even though we only discovered the frame was broken on the afternoon of the second day.We weren't that bothered about it being broken but felt uncomfortable because we felt we were blamed.However he did thank us for being understanding so it seems it may have been a misunderstanding

The accommodation was a bit cramped for 3 of us. Wished I’d spoken with Jo beforehand and perhaps got a 2 bed. The pictures of chalets showed more spacious and 2 levels which was a bit misleading.

Our week in Caswell Bay

What a find! Had a wonderful week in this beautiful part of Wales, chose a good week weatherwise too, up to 35 degrees! Only a short walk to the beach, which at low tide had hidden little coves from the cliffs and the water was warm for swimming. The chalet had everything we needed and was in a perfect location.

Nothing to complain about just think, as the weather was so hot, the chalet would have benefitted with having some sort of sun shade on the deck as it was too hot to sit outside most days. An umbrella would be a great addition.

Excellent location, very good chalet.

Location was excellent. 10 minutes walk to Caswell Bay - excellent beach and excellent cafe. Another very good beach and cafe 30 mins along the coastal path. Everyone very friendly and helpful.

Some minor issues with heater in bathroom.

Really liked the Chalet, lots of little touches ie pictures, hooks

The WiFi was awful but that was the location not the Chalet. I felt the outside space could have been a little better maintained but did not detract our stay. Needed more coat hangers.

Lovely spot and we enjoyed our stay.

Quiet, lovely walks locally and close to the beach. It was well equipped including oven &hob + fridge + small freezer + microwave. It was in a nice elevated position with parking directly outside.

Not a lot!. Was great for 2 but could have been cramped for a family of 4, I suppose. The rose bush growing over the bedroom window could do with a trim.

Superb

This was our honeymoon, What a lovely week we have had. - The weather was great. The chalet was very clean, very comfortable and quiet. The garden was secure for the dogs, lots to do and explore. Jo the owner was very friendly. Wewill definitely be back to explore more of the mumbles & Gower. Our dogs enjoyed the stay to.

Good location. Clean, well equipped accommodation. Ideal for two.

Not much. One minor point - property description said toiletries included. These were minimal for 2 persons staying three nights and did not include a tablet of hand soap. Lucky we had brought one.

we had a three night stay and liked the break to celibrate our Diamond Wedding Anniversary

We didn,t have breakfast as it was a Chalet. the area was very nice, close to the Major towns which made it easy for shopping.

We were sorry that there was a lot of building work going on down at the beach, so couldn,t park and walk around the area , and because of mobility problems my wife was unable to walk down and back up from the beach to the Chalet, we didn,t realise that the hill was so steep.
