Good sized accommodation for 2 people.
Owner helpful and there if you needed her. Otherwise she respected our privacy.
Good selection of books etc on local area.
Good views.
Own parking space.
Had most things you would need to do own cooking.
If I were going to the Gower again I would happily re book this accommodation.
Uneven heating of apartment / a bit chilly in places
A freezer/ freezer compartment would have been useful.

Fantastic Annexe 😀 so comfortable and cosy. Clean throughout. Comfortable bed, with stunning views from the window. Kitchen was very equipped with everything you would need. Comfortable seating and Sky T.V was a bonus. Host- Caroline- was excellent with communication and instructions on how to find keys etc....Lovely lady. Used to stay at Norton House, but this find is even better, cheaper and offers so much more with space. Location fabulous! 15 minutes into Mumbles- 30 to come back up the hill! Parking space is a bonus and managed to park my car with no issues.
See you again soon.

Nice property, great kitchen and separate bedroom with ensuite .views were great
Bed was very soft, heating needs to come on earlier than 8am as the bedroom and ensuite were cold early morning.

Spacious annex, well equipped, and a partial view of the bay from the window.
Bed was comfortable, and the shower over the P shaped bath worked well.
The macerator on the toilet is disconcerting at first. The main room could do with a lick of paint. Pity the builders were next-door.

Main kitchen and living room was light and airy.
Overall, pretty careworn and in need of refurbishing. Facilities and equipment were quite dated and a few things needed fixing. Could definitely do with a freshen up!
Walk up the steep hill would definitely not be for everyone.
Wouldn’t particularly recommend it until it has been tidied up.

Not applicable as not bed and breakfast
May be a drier but Caroline did offer to dry the towels for us when I mentioned it. Was also tricky to find the correct light switches? Couldn’t find the outside light switch when taking the dog out in the dark so maybe a diagram might be useful. We should have asked but kept forgetting in the day time

Good sized rooms.
Location was perfect.
Good parking, and we had a large car.
Lovely views from the bedroom.
Close to a good friendly pub.
The pillows and the mattress weren’t what we are used to, which affected the quality of our sleep.

The view from the bedroom was exceptional
Caroline needs to oversee the cleanliness of the place. Blinds broken, no shower mat, cracked yellow cup, and a bottle of water under the bed that hadn’t been removed, security key box difficult to open. Dog noisy on our last night.

Absolutely wonderful Annexe! Plenty of space to be able to sit and chill out. Very tastefully decorated throughout. Well equipped kitchen and utensils. Some lovely books and maps to potentially get out and do some lovely walks. Very clean and tidy. Bonus was been able to park outside the door, I have a medium sized car and I didn't have any problems reverse parking into the space.
Outstanding views over the bay. Lovely to be able to make use of the garden- which we did with a lovely glass of rose.
Communication with Caroline was good, precise information regarding key collection and check in/out times.
Easy 10 minutes walk to the seafront and maybe another 10 minutes to The Mumbles.
Have actually re-booked as loved this place!
Must admit that the toilet scared me the first time I flushed 😀
Coming home!

There was nothing to dislike, it was clean, comfortable and cosy. It was a great location for getting to the sea front and walking with the dog.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone and hopefully we will get back there again.

Slade Gardens is on a quite steep uphill single track road. Entrance to No 1's drive is first left - a very sharp turn into the drive which is also really narrow. Once I had become accustomed to it it was fine, just on arrival it took me aback a little. The location is so peaceful, with lovely views over Swansea Bay. A short walk downhill takes you down to Oystermouth Road - main road into Mumbles, so you can get into the village on foot quite easily. Quite an uphill walk back though. Felt very safe there and the owner's friend Sally was very welcoming. There is one large room with big comfy sofas, a kitchen area and dining table. Very well equipped, fridge, microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher. Met friends in Mumbles and brought them back to the flat to relax and escape the weather for a while - they all loved it. Bedroom and bathroom are on the next level up, to the right of the front door. I would happily have stayed a week, but sadly only got it for two nights.
Struggling to find anything - just perhaps a clearer idea of how to park. I was using an
A -Z Map, and it didn't quite prepare me for how hilly it is. Someone with a larger car than mine might struggle as the drive is narrow, but there is parking on the street below - Bellevue Road, literally 2 mins away.

Very quiet. pleasant setting. Large lounge looking out onto pleasant garden. (which we didn’t use because of weather!). Very comfortable bed, but a little awkward to get into because it was against the wall on one side. Well equipped kitchen. Dedicated parking space right next to entrance. Sky Tv and Wifi. In fact, we couldn’t have wished for more!
No complaints.

This was the third time we have stayed at Caroline's lovely apartment. Everything is just perfect, our dogs settle straight in and it really feels like a home from home for us. Caroline is a great host, very helpful and friendly. Mumbles town is lovely with lots of fab places to eat and some very good shopping too. The Gower beaches are outstanding, really breathtakingly beautiful, and so many to visit all around the peninsular. Another perfect break, thank you.

A great location, very spacious and comfortable.
It would be nice to have a separate private outside space. Having said that the shared garden is lovely and the host Caroline very accommodating and easy going.
