Excellent location, comfortable and quiet setting. The continental breakfast was a bonus and added to our pleasurable experience away.

The Lodge is located very close to the centre of Brecon yet quiet with dedicated parking. It is a short walk from the Canal Basin and canal walks. Breakfast was adequate, and as we were close to a large supermarket we were able to cater for ourselves in the well-equipped kitchenette. We appreciated the heating which kept the Lodge warm for a winter weekend.
For us there on our short stay there was nothing lacking.

Own front door. Convenient location, walking distance to supermarket and pubs / restaurants. Excellent kitchen facilities which allowed you to comfortably self cater. Very Spacious, with 2 toilets. Option to sleep downstairs, although we didn't.
No freezer compartment. Mattresses and pillows could be better. Poor message replies / communication. Pub garden outside could be noisy with late night drinkers and there was an event on when we stayed which we weren't told about despite it being immediately outside our front door / bedroom window.

Well situated, all facilities good and a very warm welcome from Gareth. Very good to have breakfast stuffs provided. Parking good.
The downside was the that the bed mattresses were poor to the point of feeling the springs, so not very comfortable. Equally the sofa was not good to relax on, and it too was poor.
Minor things; the curtain pole in the bedroom was starting to detach from the wall. Not critical but no response to email.
