The decor and attention to detail with the many interesting pictures. The fact it adjoins a Norman castle and all of the little luxuries which made the stay amazing.

When was fabulous clean was given the room last for because of accessibility. Sunday lunch was quite good beautiful location receptionist staff were wonderful.
Staff lunch lunchtime, we were coming across as stressed instead of putting a happy face on customers.
Asked for English breakfast products were good for breakfast but had to send Bacon back because it was cold got bacon but didn't even look cooked sent back for the second time it still wasn't edible. Poached eggs not cooked inside and left water all over the plate. Black pudding was overcooked beans even looked so cold. I didn't put them on my plate .The rest of the food was lukewarm the coffee was cold. It wasn't worth complaining anymore. so left the food stayed many times this hotel only keep coming back because of the location. The food looked like it's been ready and left under a lamp just not acceptable.
