The arrangement for ordering breakfast the night before worked very well. There was a good choice on the menu, the quality of the food was excellent and it was served to the table with a smile. Excellent quality bathroom soap products too.

Friendly hosts, excellent facilities, super breakfasts, and a great position for exploring Brecon.

The breakfast was outstanding. It was top quality and plentiful. The poached eggs were perfect and the fresh fruit bowl was excellent. The rooms are spacious and quirky. This is an old building, very sympathetically restored and to a very high standard. It is close to the centre of Brecon and all the local facilities. There is no dedicated parking though there is a bay directly opposite for unloading suitcases etc. There is ample road parking and lots of local car parks close by. The owners, Myfanwy and Nigel, were helpful, friendly and great hosts generally. My friends and I will definitely go back. I can highly recommend Mount Street House.

The breakfast table was beautifully organised and presented. Cooking was excellent. Loved strong tea. Local products and lots of choice.

Parking close by locally difficult. For us, bed and pillows a little soft but know that we like firm mattress and pillows so understand it’s tough to get the balance right for everyone.

We had an excellent stay at Mount Street House, where we had stayed before and would certainly stay again. Nigel, Myfanwy and staff were extremely hospitable and very willing to respond to our requests. The room was beautiful and the breakfast delicious. The House is also in a very central position in Brecon

Expensive room with broken shower.

Comfy, clean bed and room. Good quality breakfast ingredients, catering for vegetarians.

Difficulty parking nearby with no drop-off space. Shared breakfast table with other guests. Shower didn't work with water too hot to dangerously scalding. Both my husband and I tried unsuccessfully to adjust water temp. Hosts dismissive of shower complaint.

The room was very clean and had a great view, Breakfast was lovely with local produce

Can't say there is anything I didn't like, would just be useful to have a small stool to sit on at the dressing table as the other chairs are too low to see into the mirror so have to crouch on the floor

The location was great. Just a few minutes from the city centre and plenty of parking near by. Great choice of breakfasts and was really nice. The hosts were brilliant and couldn't be more helpful.

The headroom in our room (top floor) was rather low for tall people and, whilst the size/space was/is reasonable the bed, being situated in the middle of the room, made circulation limited and tricky.

The location was fine.

The shower leaked in the night. I was severely chastised for leaving the shower on -- I had not left it on to my knowledge. was not given breakfast as a conseuence on either of the two days I was there. I had believed I had turned the shower off before I went to bed.. The owner came to my room in the night to mop up the spill...........I could not sleep after his fury..
