Fantastic weekend at this stunning cottage

A place to stay

We loved the amazing view on the loch. Wallace is also wonderful, always available, smilling and kind. A must try, the hot tub with the view on the loch.

Idyllic getaway on the edge of the highlands.

Fantastic place for a weekend in the countryside, accomodating host and fantastic location. The lodge is well equipt for for 8 adults to stay aslong as two of them can fit in bunkbeds.

The proximity to the host and other guesthouse could be a inconvenient if you like to stay up late, but ultimately wasent a problem for us.

Wonderful weekend in the countryside with friends.

Had a great stay. The pictures online do not do this property justice. Large house, with plenty outdoor space. The hot tub had wonderful views over the loch, and the fire pit area was great to chill in the evening. So lovely being able to do some water sports on the loch, felt like it was our own. Wallace, the host, was super helpful and went out of his way to make our stay very easy. Would definitely return to this fabulous house.

Idyllic wee lodge on the lake

Fantastic location with direct access to the lake for watersports. Jacuzzi was brilliant. Staff were friendly and welcoming, with a bottle of fizz for my birthday! He even got the tractor out for the kids to have a seat. Nicely furnished and kitchen well kitted out. Played the Wii for the first time in 20 years 🥳

Absolutely loved staying here! All the facilities we needed were available and easy to use. The hot tub was amazing and we loved playing tennis as well. Even just sitting watching all the birds on the water was extremely enjoyable. Wallace was really helpful and easy to get a hold of if we had any questions. Would definitely stay again!

Remote location but an easy to walk to Comrie over the fields. Lovely for the kids to see the animals during lambing season. The loch was beautiful to wake up to, right outside and the large living room window made the most of the view. Absolutely loved the hot tub!

Wonderful accommodation and highly recommended!

What a brilliant holiday let! It was immaculate, incredibly spacious and the hot tub was such a bonus. We were met at the door by the lovely and friendly proprietor, who was so welcoming and helpful. It is just far enough off the beaten track to feel like you're really away and amongst some gorgeous scenery, but perfectly located for getting out and about. Would definitely book here again!

Our first Christmas without my husband.

We loved the location and the lodge was so cosy and comfortable for us all. Spectacular views of the loch and the mountains with their dusting of snow made it special. The lodge was very well equipped had plenty of dishes, glasses and very comfy bedding. Beautiful Perthshire water on tap. Hot tub maintained every day by owner. The dog park was an added bonus for 2 lively labradors. We will be back. Thanks Wallace

This was a great little find, tranquil but with lots to do. The cottage is deceiving, looks smallish in a way from the outside but its so spacious inside. Well catered for and has everything you want and need. I highly recommend it

The lodge is secluded and situated in beautiful surroundings. It is spotlessly clean, well equipped and spacious … the hot tub provided the cherry on the icing! Wallace is an efficient, friendly and helpful host.

The location is good and house is lovely. It has a lovely loch right in front of the collage. Fly fishing is available if you speak to the owners who could not have been more helpful.

Exceptionally fantastic stay

This property is exceptional in every aspect. Its exceptional in location, facilities, information provided and the host is very friendly. The property was given to us in a very clean condition and attention to detail is seen in every aspect. Kids had a lot of fun as there's lot of room both inside and outside the property. There are lots of walks and places to see around the property.

Beautiful peaceful location, but close to the village. Everything you need in a holiday property and spotlessly clean. Hosts are lovely and very helpful.

A hidden gem, well worth a stay.

A fantastic, quiet location, with beautiful views and a host of wildlife nearby. On our particular visit, there were numerous swans, ducks, geese and goslings enjoying the loch. The facilities in the lodge are excellent. The kitchen is packed with multiple cooking implements, pots and pans, all of which were good quality, which has a very positive impact when self catering. There is also a very fancy barbecue, which we didn't use, this time around. There were two flat screen televisions, each with access to Netflix, BBC iPlayer and Amazon Prime, which meant we could catch up with our shows in the evening. There are also multiple board games and a Nintendo Wii. The whole lodge was very clean and comfortable. Our host was friendly and attentive.

The only thing that wasn't fantastic was that the plumbing is rather dated, meaning that the water pressure in the shower was not that good.

Location beautiful with a lovely warm, chatty welcome from Mr and Mrs Booth. Nothing could be faulted except for the fact that on the last day of our stay it rained. Not much can be done about that!

Tolles Erlebnis in atemberaubender Kulisse!

Das Wallace Lodge ist eine wahnsinnig tolle Unterkunft! Die Lage ist einmalig und Wallace ist sehr umsorgend und machte unseren Aufenthalt zu einem einzigartigen Erlebnis! Es wird sehr viel geboten: Whirlpool mit Blick auf den See, das tolle Wohnzimmer mit Blick auf den See, eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit allen notwendigen Dingen, tolle Landschaft und gepflegter Garten!

Wallace hat bereits zwei Bäder renoviert und man sieht, dass er jeden Raum und das gesamte Anwesen mit viel Liebe sehr pflegt! Uns waren die Matratzen etwas zu hart und das Sofa etwas zu weich! Aber es ist Kritik auf höchstem Level, denn alles andere war perfekt!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
