I was very disappointed

Location was good and seanery was great

Lodge was very in need of some work there are stains on wall where water had leaked sofa could do with a good clean bed was uncomfortable shame really the swing in the garden looked very fragile and I rang number in the book twice and no one rang back location was good and seanery was lovely pleased the sun was shining as sat out on porch most of time

Cosy little cabin

Comfy sofa, good shower, warm and cosy place to come back to after a day out. Little kitchenette has all you need to make a meal. Small hob, microwave.decent location for Keswick Penrith and Carlisle.

Mattress needed replacing, The fridge wasn't actually a fridge, it was a wine cooler, so if your staying there for any length of time it's not cold enough to properly refrigerate food items that need to be kept cold.

It was a lovely little place.Very quiet with great views.

The bed was so uncomfortable we left after 2 nights instead of staying for 4 nights.Sorry to be negative but it was a big problem.

The location

No staff about - no response to email message sent on first evening saying we didn’t have towels for two people only one, we went round to property no one answered door , we did speak to a neighbour but still no response from owner, so we had to unfortunately share towels, no welcome, no condiments, not even a cork screw, no chopping board not even a draining board, one of the bulbs was blown we were going to also report this but no answer - very uncomfortable bed, the combi supposed oven also useless so we couldn’t cook our own food properly, we were surprised there was a very small amount of washing up liquid! Overall very uncomfortable stay very overpriced for what it is only thing going for it is views and location. Also not very clear on how to located the property we had to ask a couple of young boys - very disappointed

everything thing was fabulous anything we needed Lucy was only happy to help we will definitely be b

Lodge is fab. compact but everything you need, loads of storage space, lovely crockery etc. Bathroom is lovely with red hot shower. The garden has fabulous views.

Nothing but A black out blind on the front door would help with a lie in and maybe a light outside.
