The Rocking Lodge

Have stayed at Doddick Farm before but first time in The Rocking Lodge, it was compact but fantastic, we loved our stay. Kitchen was great for a short stay, kettle, microwave and hob with all the utensils and cooking equipment you need. Lovely little bathroom, good shower pressure, warm and cosy plenty of parking and the cows in the field in the morning was an added bonus, nice little garden area to enjoy in warmer weather

The bed was very very creaky, a little uncomfortable at first but we got used to it

Property was fine for short break. Value for money

Bed, bed was a real problem for us as one side against a wall. A couple who need to access the bathroom during the night this did make for a problem. Bed also a little uncomfortable. A66 was a bit difficult to get onto during busy times due to traffic

Comfy sofa, good shower, warm and cosy place to come back to after a day out. Little kitchenette has all you need to make a meal. Small hob, microwave.decent location for Keswick Penrith and Carlisle.

Mattress needed replacing, The fridge wasn't actually a fridge, it was a wine cooler, so if your staying there for any length of time it's not cold enough to properly refrigerate food items that need to be kept cold.

It was a lovely little place.Very quiet with great views.

The bed was so uncomfortable we left after 2 nights instead of staying for 4 nights.Sorry to be negative but it was a big problem.
