Lovely little place to stay, will definitely book again!

Easy to find, perfect location. Lovely and cosy, the bed was amazing!

Not one single message or contact with the property. Knew there’d be a key left in the door following other peoples comments. Just one standard surrealist message would have been good.

This property was superb. Super cosy. Got everything you need. Had a lovely stay. Will definitely return.

I was pacing up and down upon arrival, no one around. Called the number a couple of times, did finally get a message to contact another number. Finally after speaking to a gentleman, he told me which bothy I was staying in.

Small but cute and cosy

Is was a small , but cute studio. The view was breath taking. It was a fair driving distance from the attractions. Bed was very comfortable. Great water pressure , and very hot water. Also lots of parking spaces . There is even little playground area for children

The address on booking.com is not for that property. You have to find Doddick Farm. There was no instructions for check in or out. I've tried to call the provided number , but I had txt with different number , which was invalid. On the end, we found the key left in the door of the property. There was not much space to prepare the food or table to eat the meals . Also there was no hair dryer , and nowhere to unpack the clothes ( comparing to other properties I've rented )

As some other reviews have stated, you can hear the upstairs people/person very easily as if there is no sound deadening in the roof/floor at all. However, it didn't disturb me/us too much.

I will be back!

Perfect location for views and close by all location sights. Never more than 10-15mins in the car or walk from where you are to see amazing local sites. Doddick farm is unreal with all the different types of stays you can have. Been a couple times now will always come back here for a home break in the lakes

I had to leave ha! Not ideal roadworks getting done on day of arrivals but nothing to do with doddick, no complaints other than people upstairs were a little noisy

Location and character (This bothy is smaller than a family room at travel lodge) but is awesome, the clue is in the name BOTHY. Parking right outside the property. Fridge, toaster, microwave & kettle in the kitchen area, TV and free WiFi also included.

Contact with Booking.com & owner could bet a bit better.

Beautifully clean, great location and all you need for a short stay to explore this beautiful part of the world.

There was nothing really, just hand soap and a hair dryer would have made my stay 💯 perfect.

I loved the cleaness of the facilities, the cosy decor, and the outstanding view.

I think I never managed to lock the door, but it was not a major problem as I felt it was a very secure and safe place.

Cosy stay near Ullswater

I got in late at night and left first thing but from my short stay, I can certainly say that it is a very cosy place. Shower was great and bed was super comfy.

Thought there was an oven there, turns out there was just a microwave and sink and fridge. My mistake but couldn’t find it listed anywhere else.

Well presented, go location and clean

The residents above extremely noisy, through to the early hours of the morning. We had very little sleep. This was not a one off as we saw this documented in the comments diary on other occasions. Such a shame because everything else was great.

The neighbours upstairs were very noisy, you could hear everything they did , there needs to be some insulation between floors , the accommodation is small and compact which didn't come across through the description very well but that aside it was nicely decorated, clean and in a lovely location

blij dat ik weg kon

sleutels zaten in het slot. het is een heel klein verblijf en bovendien erg donker. Alleen door het raampje in de deur komt er daglicht binnen. Er is heel beperkt meubilair. Alleen 1 2 persoonsbankje en een heel klein bijzet tafeltje. geen wastafel.

aan dit verblijf kun je niet veel verbeteren omdat er geen geen ruimte is en geen daglicht naar binnen kan komen.
