We stayed over at the end of night one of the C2C cycle ride. This property met all of our expectations and for a very good price - we got a comfortable, quiet night's sleep and a lovely view to wake up to it - and it is on the C2C route itself. I would recommend letting them know in advance if you are cycling, as they seemed a bit surprised and not sure what to do with the bikes, but we were able to lock them away for the night. Highly recommended if you need a warm shower, and a comfortable bed for a good price!

The location is fabulous for hikes up and around Blencathra . Also great location for the Lake District in general and Keswick . It was warm and cosy after a long day of walking . Very clean . It is good value for money for that area .

We were a bit underwhelmed by the size of the place - like a very small bedsit , but I guess that’s why it was so affordable. Sometimes we could hear other people in adjacent apartments having showers, talking loudly. The kitchen area is quite small.
