Positives were the beautiful view from the window and the availability of private parking rather than parking on the street.
Unfortunately, the apartment was in very poor hygienic condition. Towels, blankets, bed sheets and pillows were dirty. The towels also had a very unpleasant smell, like sweat or old, musty fabric, which made them unusable.
Another serious issue was the heating. It is controlled by a timer with no access for guests. During winter, the apartment was extremely cold, making the stay very uncomfortable.
The TV is very old — it is impossible to connect Netflix, the sound constantly hisses, and the image quality is poor and unclear.

Location was just what we wanted, we were able to enjoy the beauty of the area.
We were given the wrong directions, address and key code by booking .com,so had to contact them. Entry to the property was after 5pm which was is not suitable for rural areas in winter where there little or no street lighting, we were very cold when we eventually got in after assistance from a local dog walker.
The cottage was very cold as the heating was not on long enough for the winter weather.
The shower drain trap was blocked with hair and dirt which we had to clear as shower flooded. Also the kitchen sink drain was the same but didn’t clear that.
The cottage was not very clean with cobwebs, dust and hair.
We left a day early as we were so cold and fed up.

Lovely location with spectacular view from the garden. Helped by wonderful weather for the whole week.
Small but comfortable accomodation in a lovely village
Might need a new frying pan we were unable to use other than that everything was fine and well equiped.

It had everything that was needed and more. Beautiful view from the windows too!
Not a major issue but could have done with a bigger TV

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable of the area. We particularly enjoyed the hike up Blencathra from Scales which looks down on the accommodation.
Amazing views from the studio. Lovely town with 2 pubs (horse & farrier great for food) and a good cafe at Threlkeld village Hall.

The cottage was comfy and setting in the mountains was breath taking.
It was disappointing that the one door to the work space above the foyer was not accessible. Secondly, as much as the shower had wonderful pressure the shower was blocked.

Location was at base of the mountain and close to the Lakes I wanted to swim in
Property well kept, modern with a nice garden/patio area over looking Keswick which provided stunning views
It would be rare for us to return to the same place again another time as we like to do different things but would really consider a return stay here
There's a balcony within which you cannot gain access to
Bed too small for me with a solid wooden end which I banged my heel on a few times, not ideal but I am very tall for anyone under 6ft would definitely not be an issue

Het uitzicht.
De keuken, met servies en bestek was niet schoon. Geen theedoek, geen afwasmiddel. Geen theezakje, helemaal niets.
De TV is superklein en hapert en kraakt.
De koekenpan is aan vervanging toe.
