Great place to set off up Helvellyn, lovely hit with everything you could need. The host even included sachets to make hot drinks and soup with. Cannot recommend high enough

Gorgeous location, the hut had all you need, water microwave plates etc, we had a wonderful stay and walk. Super cozy and warm :)
Our only quarm was there’s no nearby shops for food etc, and the only pub within a few miles was closed! So make sure you do a small shop in Keswick.

Location, provision of appliances and the bed was comfortable.
The farm residents had dogs which were kept in the outdoor building next to the hut and dogs were barking throughout the evening and from 5.30am.
Also the fly tape hanging down next to the bed with lots of dead flies on wasn’t that great. But also appreciate the heat brings out flies.
