well located, but property requires work.
hot tub kitchen modern and well equipped
Shower disgusting - plumbing backing up from toilet and sinks. Stairs awkward and bedroom ceiling too low for taller people. Overall paintwork needed a refresh, shed door falling to pieces, old carpet left behind lodge and cushions for outdoor seating have been eaten by mice.

Good location, close to Keswick.
In need of repairs. Hot tub wasn't even plugged in so couldn't use on 1st night, then slowly drained so was only half full on night 2. Shower knackered, all the electric part doesn't work, pieces missing doors don't work properly, seals dirty and hanging off, needs replacing. Watered down washing up liquid which is ridiculous. Steps to bedroom verging on dangerous. Ceiling too low.

I wouldn’t say dislike- but just areas for improvement . Sofa is very small , barely fits 2 people so can uncomfy. Would benefit from salt and pepper and extra dishcloth / towels when staying for 3 nights.

Superb
Quiet location, and a fantastic hot tub with plenty of privacy.
Dripping hot tap in the kitchen and the bathroom fan runs constantly day and night.

Amazingly good but could be sensational
Location outstanding views, staff very helpful and quick to deal with an issue. Hot tub is well needed after a days walking, it truly made the difference.Well equipped for almost most needs.
Shower not fit for purpose, could do with replacing with a more simpler one. Radiator was past its user date as temperature was temperamental Hot tub would be vastly improved and a real plus if it had a gazebo. Due to typical inclement lakes weather.

Fantastic getaway
We arrived at the property a little early but thankfully it was ready. The lodge was spotlessly clean and tidy. Modern decor and amazing shower in the bathroom although not all the shower settings were working. Everything you need in the kitchen (I.e toaster kettle oven and microwave). Hand sanitiser and disinfectant spray available which is very handy due to the Covid 19. Hot tub outside was a great bonus and felt amazing after a long day of walking. Stairs were a tiny bit dangerous but didn’t effect the stay too much. Maybe would benefit from a tv in the bedroom upstairs but also didn’t effect the stay too much. We will definitely be coming back soon!
