Beautiful building, sympathetically reimagined - I'd love to learn more! Beautifully quiet and sound sleep, was really comfortable. Linen has a wonderful perfume too - it's the simple things! Breakfast was terrific, with so many options. Our needs were accommodated totally, with an early check in and really helpful advice about driving in Brussels ahead of time which was a huge help.
I imagined that the parking would be on site; where in fact it's a short walk away. Maybe this could be better illustrated ahead of time to best manage expectations.

Good breakfast
Excellent garage
Gentle landlord
A bit far away from downtown
The original room had a window, however a bathroom unit was installed in front of the window, see picture. There is almost nothing left of the window.

The bathroom was wonderful, luckily with a working heater. That's what we had to use to get the temperature in the room up to a comfortable level. I was freezing cold, even tucked into bed wearing a sweater and pajama pants. There is a heater for the room, but after almost three hours, the temperature had risen a mere half degree.
I had to call the manager (owner?) to get into the building. He fussed at me over the phone about how I would not be having such a hard time if I had read all the emails with instructions. Emails? I thoroughly searched my email, and the ONLY contact I had received concerning the accommodation was the confirmation email from Booking.com.

An incredibly beautiful hotel. The best place I've ever stayed. Monike was very kind and helpful. I loved it here. I'll definitely come back.

Characterful, elegant old but well-kept building with outlook over a garden with beautiful mature trees. Period stairs and mirrors. Fresh, plentiful breakfast and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Good shower power
Slightly quirky bathroom with a step

Decent out of the centre location. Free parking available. Great building.
Uncomfortable bed. The room was stuffy. In the heat. Bathroom door did not close fully, so pooping could have been awkward if we were a new couple. Breakfast was very minimal.

The bed and bedding are excellent; the shower is powerful, right temperature and spacious.
Little details here and there but nothing major.

Amazing room in a very grand building, and within very easy reach of the centre of Brussels. Impeccably clean, and the bonus of the breakfast offered really made it a memorable stay.

The house is beautiful and very tasteful. The rooms are spacious enough, and the bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was quite simple but good quality and more than enough. The tram stop was right outside the door.
- the bathroom door was not fully closing by design, took some time getting used to it :)
- the lady helping us with breakfast spoke only French, we managed to communicate what was needed but you could tell she is a bit frustrated by the situation.

Basically everything, location is great in front of the tram stop so it is easy to reach everywhere. Amazing breakfast, the lady who served was super nice. The owner was responding all my messages quickly and instructions/guide was clear.
The bathroom divider was not closing fully that was the only issue..

It was like start of your French dream (in Brussels of course). Interiors were amazing, so classy. The room was comfy, balcony was small but charming. Coffee and tea were available in room. Bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was delicious, you could feel like you were eating with your family. The lady helping with breakfast weren't speaking english but I honestly doesn't mind, because she was so adorable and helpful. I totally recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Albert Molière in Brussels, and I must say, it was an experience that left a lasting impression. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was captivated by the unique combination of vintage charm and modern technology that permeated every aspect of my stay.
The first thing that struck me was the hotel's exquisite interior design. The blend of vintage elements and contemporary touches created a visually stunning ambiance that immediately transported me to another era. The lobby showcased antique wall drawings, intricate tapestries, and elegant chandeliers, all meticulously curated to evoke a sense of nostalgia and elegance. It was a true feast for the eyes.
Upon checking in, I was delighted that the hotel seamlessly integrated technology into its guest experience. The check-in process was efficient and hassle-free, thanks to the state-of-the-art self-check-in. It was refreshing to see how the hotel managed to preserve its vintage appeal while embracing the convenience of modern technology.
The high-speed Wi-Fi provided all the communication needs and conveniences one could ask for.
The attention to detail extended to the bathroom, where contemporary rain showers and sensor-controlled lighting complemented classic fixtures and beautiful tile work. It was a truly luxurious experience, combining the best of both worlds.
In the morning, I enjoyed a delightful breakfast in the hotel's vintage-inspired dining area. The breakfast spread offered a delectable variety of local dishes, catering to all tastes. The attentive staff member added a local touch to the dining experience, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and cared for in a local way.
Please fix a detaching room door handle. Also, knowing at least a little French to communicate with staff during breakfast is beneficial.

Lovely old style building, very clean, nice modern bathroom.
Just found it overall overpriced for what it offered. Bathroom was fab, but shower leaked a bit into the main bathroom. Definitely need to bring ear plugs, old building and can hear people/doors opening in the night.

The room was nice, comfy bed and lovely bathroom.
We checked on a Sunday, to be told that our check in time of 2pm wouldn’t be available as the cleaner doesn’t even start work until at least 3pm on Sundays. we eventually got a text at 4.09pm to say the room was ready. There is also no soundproofing so you can hear everyone talking and moving around.

Beautiful snall Bed&Breakfats. The staff is very friendly and they went out of their way in order to accomodate my requests. They were always available if I needed something. The rooms are beautiful and are equipped with everything you need. You can get a reserved free parking spot upon request, near the hotel.

The very nice gentleman owning the guest house proved to be of massive help and super understanding! He helped us with our luggage since we had to check-out earlier than our bus to Amsterdam, so we left the luggage at the guest house until later in the evening.
The guest house is right next to a tram station and you can *very easily* get to the city centre and back! Also, the rooms are super chic, the bathroom is absolutely dreamy and the bed in our room was extremely comfortable! Wish we could have stayed longer, honestly...
The self-check-in option/no reception was perfect for us: we were given a code to access the building and from then on, we just had to go up a couple of stairs, the key to our room was waiting for us in the keyhole - so everything went super smooth.
I wish the breakfast would have been more varied, but it was great to chat a bit with the owner while enjoying our morning coffee! Other than that, I have absolutely no comments! ;)

1. Location - Really good , a short tram ride from city centre and next to a tram stop , also close to local neighbourhood area with shops and restaurants. The area was pleasant and safe to walk around at night.
2. Communication - Our host Paul maintained excellent communication before the visit and during it , when the was a problem before the visit with my mobile number he ensured that we had the key code for the front door and that all was well. Paul was very approachable during our stay and welcome beer was a nice touch.
3. The room was good , we have put a couple of suggestions in the section below. The large room had been really well converted to include shower and bathroom/WC and the size was OK. The bed was comfortable.
4. We were at the back of the house and did not have any problems with noise.
5. We would certainly stay again.
It was all pretty good but if a few small improvements might make a difference then here are our thoughts.
1. A bit more variety for breakfast , it was all good and there were options , maybe some different breads , more variety of fruit.
2. A hanging rail for clothes in the bedroom, the hat stand that served this purpose was OK but a rail would have been better.
3. Tea /coffee making facilities were available at all times downstairs but maybe nice to have this in the room.
4. We appreciate that the garden is private and not for guest use however it would be lovely if it were possible at some time to allow guest use , sitting out there after a day in the city would have been nice.

Lovely room, nice breakfast and welcome beer. Would recommend!
The sound travelled through the building so were woken up a couple of times by people entering the building.

We enjoyed the proximity to our points of interest, the parking option and, of course, the character of the premises. We found the host very nice and friendly.
Nothing that we didn't like...

the room was very pretty with a lovely and modern bathroom remodelling contrasting with the high ceiling and older look of the bedroom. it is just like how it was shown in photos. the breakfast is good, with the host being very kind and making scrambled eggs if you wish. this is a very charming B&B, located in a quiet, pretty and up-and-coming neighbourhood in the southern part of brussels. the tram is right in the front of the hotel, which is 15 mins away from the city centre and 5 mins from brussels midi train station. it is reasonably priced for a more intimate experience compared to a generic hotel chain.
i have stayed at this B&B before, and this time the toilet needed more cleaning. I also think the bed needs an upgrade. funnily enough, i was given the same room I stayed years ago and the single bed mattress was as worn out as it was back then.

Lovely big bed, excellent bathroom and shower
Breakfast was nice and varied. Eggs, pastries, bread, cereals etc.
The communication from Paul in advance of arrival was spot on and timely.
