We wanted a quiet getaway and this was absolutely perfect. It's surrounded by gorgeous views at the top of a hill, the cottage was cosy with a beautiful view, lots of garden and seating areas so you had plenty of space. We were visited by a large hare, a red squirrel, a woodpecker, bats and lots of little birds. The alpacas on site were so sweet.
The cottage was equipped with more than we expected, possibly the best self catering set up we have had.
The owners were lovely and on hand when we needed anything.
The night sky was incredible, definitely worth taking a hot chocolate outside for a bit of star gazing as there's no light pollution.
I'd have preferred a bigger bed than standard double but it would not stop me from returning.
