Great location, easy access to the Lakes and relatively quite (A66 nearby). Roomy cottage. Dog was happy inside and out. They were helpful with guidance and provide towels for the wet walks.
Bathroom downstairs, just a personal preference

Setting was superb. Private, quiet and yet easy to access the local area. Beds were ok. Good kitchen facilities. Parking handy. Walking distance to local pub!
Strong smell of damp/musty. Owners trying to address using a humidifier but not really effective. Minor flaws like bathroom door not closing well, toilet flush faulty, just needs some tlc… garden could be made more usable.

Excellent location and comfy beds
Good size
Very peaceful and quiet with superb views
The flush on the loo was tricky, it has a knack but feels rather flimsy, which was a bit alarming.
