This cheerful home with natural landscaping is in downtown Salida, next to the Monarch Spur walking/bike path and two blocks from the Arkansas River. The ideal home base for fun!
This single-level, bright, colorful pet-friendly dwelling offers:
~ master suite with gas fireplace and queen bed; a second bedroom with a queen bed; and an office with futon bed
~ two custom-built full bathrooms, one with a gorgeous, walk-in shower
~ modern kitchen, open living/dining area with fun views of town and the mountains beyond
~gas stove in the living area, garden courtyard, large patio with table/chairs, Adirondack chairs on 3 outdoor areas, Cable TV and WiFi.
All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent, paper napkins and toiletries.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved over-occupancy or pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $1000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.
Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund minus a $125 Cancellation fee or a $75 Change fee if applicable. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.**

This house is a wonderful place to stay in Salida. It feels cozy and has all the amenities you need. It is in the perfect location to walk down town. The hosts were wonderful and communicated with us effectively.

For our 3 day stay, internet didn't work for a day-and-a-half. Wore my shoes in the house because the floors were sticky. Kitchen cabinets and other areas sticky to touch. Couldn't use the top oven because you can't change the temp. Washing machine stopped 3 times and attempting to get it started again resulted in bubbles on the floor everywhere and the dryer was so loud, we didn't want to use it. So, couldn't do laundry after river trip or at all. Does have an outdoor space for the dog, but there are stickers and thorns everywhere because it is overgrown. So we didn't let the dog out much because he was chewing his feet and limping after being out to potty. Pretty difficult getting in touch with management/owner who provided poor reimbursement for problems experienced (considering what we paid for a 3 day stay). The location is convenient and it was nice having a full kitchen to cook, but, overall, we will not be staying at this home again. It just wasn't a very good experience overall.
