All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.
Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.
All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.
~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.
**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.
Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

We loved everything about our stay at Dunwell Cottage! It is incredibly charming and nothing beats the location. The park is only one block away, so it was easy for us to walk over multiple times a day with our baby and dogs. The neighborhood was also very quiet at night which we appreciated (no loud parties or groups passing by that might have woken our baby).I was impressed with how clean the cottage was (only because any pet friendly home can have its issues!), it was spotless and the carpet was super clean. The kitchen was fully stocked for us to cook, and the fenced in area in the backyard was perfect for our dogs to play outside off leash. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable place stay in Salida. We will absolutely stay here again next time we’re visiting!

Inside was very nice and cozy, wverything we needed. The outside could use some TLC and curb appeal, not very inviting. Location completely makes up for it. Seeing the outside in person gave me some hesitation that the whole place was run down but once we were inside we could see that a lot of attention and upgrading had been done inside.
Dogs are allowed but the fenced in area is very small and the fence is only about 30" high, something to keep in mind.
Overall we enjoyed our experience, just wish there was maybe some front yard seating or an inviting patio i stead of dead plants.
