Onrock Boutique Hotel

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ella. The location is excellent—right in the centre, yet just far enough away (about a 100-yard uphill walk) to escape the hustle and bustle of the lively town, making it peaceful and relaxing. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The entire hotel is incredibly accommodating, and every member of staff was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The rooftop swimming pool is absolutely beautiful and the perfect place to watch the sunset while enjoying the stunning views over Ella. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice, and the chef went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy. We also loved all the thoughtful little touches throughout the hotel, including the games area—they’ve really thought of everything to make your stay memorable. A special thank you to the reception team for organising our transfer from Ella to Tangalle so efficiently. Your kindness and excellent service made our journey so much easier. Thank you once again for a fantastic stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily return in the future!

Location - in the center.

The rooms had very poor lighting, the washrooms were also not properly maintained. The views are not accurately reflected on the website (however they say garden view) but exactly it is not a garden view but they have some plantations and an under construction building which is next to it. So essentially- you have not a good view. The rooms had no tv connection.
